| MINI2 Global Moderator | I know that G8's Cooper is in at Lind for a new Engine, so if they are driving it at full throttle then they're obviously not following the running in procedure! Cause for complaint I feel, however, he does have an induction kit and works exhaust so maybe they were the culprits?? the MINI has gone... |

Offline | Have been waiting for G8 BAD to post. Didn't want to be the first to say about his probs. Saw him trying to drive up a hill on the M2 as I went down, looked like he was on fire due to the amount of smoke! Hope he will tell us what went wrong! |

Offline | Soon after I traded my last Cooper in, I went to the smart dealer to hand some documents in. The salesman told me that his mate (who bought the cooper from them to sell on) had been driving around in the cooper and the same happened to him. Again this resulted in a new engine being fitted. Thank god I sold it when i did ![]() |

| Trained Monkey | Well, it sounds from what I have read on here that Lind may have a lot to answer for. Keep us informed of how you get on, hopefully there's a silver lining. Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | Hey Mr.Chrome! Did that really happen? The looks on their faces if they turned up at work on Monday to find no license, no MINI sign, and no MINIs parked outside would be something to see! |
