I have hear bad things about them on other posts.

In contrast Specialist Cars Luton have a reputation of excellence. Know another Mini2er who has move delaer to Luton...because of the chalk and cheese service between the two dealers.

My car came from Luton ...so no cause for complaint. Someone will be able to help you with those contact numbers / e-mail

What have been your main grieviances with Stevenage?

The main bone of contention was a postfit Multi Function Wheel. I paid top dollar for it and the garage have had my car for over for days and still not got it working.

That asside the arrogance and hostility of the dealership is offensive, after having the car two days they called and said they were having some difficulties and that they wanted the car for another day. The next day they called and asked to have the car for a further day, I asked what the problem was and was told "it's not really your concern" and that "I wouldn't understand anyway" When I advised them that this wasn't acceptable the service manager told me that it was tough and put the phone down on me.

I put in a call to the dealer principal he was caustic and generally appeared dissmissive and uninterested. I got the impression that he couldn't give a toss about mini customers and that my car would "have to wait" until a senior technician was free to look at it.

A creaky sunroof, scrapped alloys, not completing work as prommised, and the indifference of the service staff are adding to the buyers remorse, and tainting my enjoyment of a wonderfull product.

As you seem to be in the area - do you know what Elms of Bedford are like as far as the Mini experience goes?
Thanks

Try emailing MINI Customer Services:

customer.service@mini.co.uk

You should get through your Regional Customer Service Manager.

Good luck!

Customer Service Phone Number

I've also had problems with poor dealership service. I usually ring MINI Customer service. Phone this number:

01344 426565

Just ask to be put through to MINI Customer service. In the past the customer service advisor has called the offending dealership on my behalf. The dealership then seems slightly more helpful.

However I have now given up on my local dealership and am getting much better service elsewhere.

Hope this helps

Cool dealer complaints

Now on third car after numerous hassles and complaints. I'm presently pursuing a claim for compensation.
The main man for complaints, the Customer Service Manager at BMW HQ UK is a guy called Bramwell Wearing. Tel;01344 426565.
Hassle the guy. He deals with all complaints and should liaise direct with the dodgy dealer.
Good Luck!
