Just a warning if you think you have TLC, make sure you can prove you paid for it. Especially if you brought your car from Sytners.
Well, my wifes Cooper S went in for a service today, only to be rang by some jobsworth later to tell me that the car didnt have TLC, and after we explained that we had taken it out he asked if we could remember the salesmans name.
We brought the car 2 years ago !
They couldnt find anything, and told me in no uncertain terms that we would be charged unless they could trace it, but couldn't do it from the registration plate ?
I ended up having to find the original invoice and giving them the number from that, and he eventually rang back to confirm they had 'found it' and that the car was now registered for tlc.
This has really annoyed me, because through their lack of diligence and professionalism, I am having to prove something.
And they still owe me £30 as they said they would refund me for an insurance cancellation which they never did.
The joys of jobsworths.
