Offline | order placed Well, I went to Don ORsen on saturday and placed my order. Its a ds/w mcs with cloath sunroof and mfsw. I have about 7-10 months to wait now. Why didn't I put down the deposit when I stopped in a month ago? I was wondering if there was any thought to doing a track day in conjunction with Don Rosen. I think I will autocross the mini, but I wouldn't mind taking out the miata I have now. sticking it to the man since 1973. ---------neil |

Offline | Re: order placed If planning on autocrossing it, why did you order it with the dual pane sunroof? Just curious. '02 MINI Cooper CVT On Order: 2004 MCS (Est production date: 9/5/03) |

Offline | As for looking around, I just did. I heard about this dealer in Pittsburgh who had lots of mcs. Called him tonite and placed an order. My build date will be around Jan 20. They do require that I purchase $1000 of accessories. I dont like that but I did want the aero front spoiler and grill anyway. Come March I will be in steel country with a smile. As for the sunroof; I know it would be a detriment in auto x. But coming from a convertable, I just can't give up that extra little bit of freedom. and I am not buying the car in order to autocross, its just something I think I will try. sticking it to the man since 1973. ---------neil |
