Service Work at Momentum MINI in Houston

Today I took my MINI to the newly opened Momentum MINI in Houston for some service work and I was very satisfied with the experience.

There were numerous warranty items I wanted to have addressed (e.g. cold start problem, coolant tank leaking, new seat adjuster handles fitted, key functions programmed, etc.) and Momentum's Service Advisor, Steve Meyer, was great to work with. I contacted Steve both by phone and by email about the things I wanted done and he made sure he had all the necessary parts and software on hand by the time I arrived. For a new MINI dealership that just open several weeks ago, they have a very smooth-running service department with knowledgeable technicians.

Even though I didn't buy my MINI from Momentum (they weren't even open when I got my car 6 months ago) they treated me like a valued customer. I wasn't charged for the key programming (MINI memory functions) and they washed the car before returning it to me. Nice.

Wow, that's great to hear. I've very much enjoyed several people at Momentum, too.

I'm bummed that you didn't let me know you were coming to Houston, though! I'd have joined you for lunch or something!

Texan. Goofy. Sometimes witty. Pacifist. Imperfect, nice guy. Trying.

Ok so apparently the service department is good, if you can stomach the sales staff and the parts counter.
