In my quest for a Mini, I've started to put together a list that others might find useful.

I've called about 20 dealers so far to inquire about markup and wait times. All wait times are in months.

If anyone has any other info that would like me to add, just drop me a note.

I called around for this info, was offered 0 wait, 0 markup at mini of pittsburg, and big stock of MCS. I ordered, will have to be trucked at my expense to CA.

Thanks for the head's up! I've been on the wait list at East Bay MINI since July. I just called and they said at the current allocation rate, it would be another year!

So based on your post, I called Pittsburg. They had exactly the Cooper S that I wanted. They already had a truck arranged to CA because they were shipping two other cars. So, I'll probably have the car on 12/18. Instant Gratification!

The transaction is over yet, but Pittsburg has been easy to deal with. Thanks to Rhett and Dot there.
