Exclamation Not to impressed with follow up

Well I've been driving my MINI for almost three weeks and love it. However I don't love the follow up from my dealer, probablly because there's been none! No one has called to say 'How do you like your MINI, any problems, THANKS FOR PAYING MSRP and making my sales job a no brainer!!! Nothing. Seems a shame to waste what up to this point has been a good experience on shoddy dealer service. What's it take to pick up the phone and smooze a little? I know MINI's are selling like crazy but still you'd think BMW dealers would do better with the follow up.
Oh well, just venting my frustrations, I guess I'll go for a drive and get in a better mood. Motor on!

Who is your dealer?
I might as well rub it in:
I just today received a nice handwritten Christmas card from my MINI rep. One week ago at an accessories day MINI party we were treated to a full spread bbq buffet. On that day I was also given a HUGE 2003 MINI calendar, an excellent keychain and a box of MINI mints All this because I'm a good customer and got a GREAT MINI dealer in MINI of Peabody.

Missing my buddies Dan and Ed but glad I have two angel buddies, And on a quest to Right Secco's Wrongs

Talking Sounds Like a Road Trip

I've never been to Cape Cod but it sounds like a road trip maybe in order to see what Dealer Customer Service is all about! Also, when I picked up my car I naturally assumed it had a full tank of gas, as all new cars do. When I got home and decided to check where everything was I noticed I had less than a quarter of a tank! I was lucky I made it home considering it was an hours drive. And I'm still waiting for the mints you spoke of.

Sorry to hear about your time with your dealer.

Come on up you will love the Cape (or for that fact any part of the New England coastline you visit ). I bought my Mini from Mini of Peabody to, and was treated like I just bought the most expensive car in the world. What I loved, was when I went to pick up my car, it was washed and sitting in the back of the dealer showroom (with a car cover so on one would go near it). When paperwork was out of the way, my salesman showed me all the things I needed to know (Spent a good amount of time with me too). Then he had me drive it out and took some pictures of me and the Mini. It was a good experiance all around.

You will likely get a survey call asking about your dealer from MINIUSA as well as a paper JDPower survey.

Then you'll be able to let your dealer know (in an indirect way that really matters) what you think of their non-existent post sale follow up.
