After a decent test drive of the Cooper with the Syntner boys in Chelsea I asked to be called back as soon as a Cooper S was available. This they agreed. No information from them so after several more calls still got nothing but "theres a 12 month waiting list you know..."

Needless to say popped into Fawdingtons in Newcastle and got the test drive there and then plus an option on a Cooper S to my spec within 3 to 4 months.

All went to plan and the thing arrived one week earlier than the given delivery date. The guys sorted out all the sound system mods and presented it brilliantly.

One big Woop for Fawdingtons, One big Waaarp for Syntner, Chelsea

Tell me about it. They seemed to think they were doing a favour selling me mine. Sad to say I gave up complaining in the end, because I had better things to do with my time.

You are very lucky. You didnt buy from Sytner Chelsea!!!

Ordered 02/02, finally delivered 09/02 MCS in IB/W, Chilli, Auto A/C, MD and CD changer. Replaced by BMW 02/04, delivered 04/04
