Has anyone bought a Mini below MSRP?

Hello Mini People~

I was in a market for a new car and just found out that the non-S version Coopers are quite availible. I was just wondering if anyone bought a non-S Cooper below MSRP.

Thanks!

I know the local dealer, Checkered Flag, sold a demo for below MSRP recently. It was listed on their web site as a special.

Well that makes sense as a MINI demo is definitely a used car!

Yes, it was definitely used. I think it was listed as having around 4k miles. That's a lot of different seats in the driver's seat!

I started looking in the New York area back in Nov and found several Coopers that matched what I was looking for. I went to the dealer that had the one I really wanted and told him I'd buy it that day if he would take $200 off and give me carpet mats. He came right back and said it was a done deal. So I would say for a Cooper that is in stock you should be able to get a \at least something off, at least in the northeast.
