Offline | I went with a dealer with the quickest turn around. Just ordered mine ( MCS ) 10 days ago with no wait time. Dreyer & Reinbold in Indianapolis,In. I am in Denver,Co. so I am going to fly out when it arrives. I wanted mine for the summer and to auto cross, so I called around. Also the staff there is very friendly and helpful. |

Offline | I went to Stephen James in Enfield as I thought it was a good area for a test drive. My nearest dealer's in Highgate but I thought that'd be a terrible area to take the car for a spin. |

Offline | I chose Sitner Solihull as the salesman was very good, no bulls**t and gave me a test drive...........unlike Rydale Central where the women was probably more concerned about the zit on her face than giving me information! |

Offline | I chose Stephen James in Enfield cos i had to have a MCS as soon as was humanly possible. So i grabbed a colleague's place in the queue and got one 3mths earlier than i would have had i waited for Neep to get one. EB/W MCS. outguns AUDI TT's on the straight..........sometimes. |

![]() M2 Bapmaster | I chose my second nearest dealer because my closest one.... Wouldn't let me have a test drive(it was around the first recall to do with the fuel tanks etc), I didn't like the salesguy.....he told me he could give me a discount but didn't want to!!!!, The other dealer agreed to fit my radio etc as way of a discount, |

Offline | I had been to my dealer originally on a curiosity test drive while I was home in NJ one weekend. When I was ready to buy I was going to go to the closest dealer (Boston) but they don't do test drives on weekends. So I bought in NJ. After a horrible service experience in Boston since then, I'm really glad I didn't buy from them. |

Offline | After trawling through a lot of dealers, I chose Scotthall Leeds as the salesman knew more about the car than any other dealer I spoke to and offered the best prices. They certainly were not my nearest dealer. I'm still staggered when I talk to dealers just how many people who sell the MINI don't know a whole lot about it....I'm sure these types will be looking for work when the waiting list subsides... and rightly so. Lee. |

Offline | I'm still trying to find the "right" dealer..luckily I read all about Niello in Sacramento..that had been where I planned on going. So now my goal is to buy my Indi Blu Mini Cooper from a dealer who can get me what I want, which includes all 3 packages offered...in a decent amount of time and not for way over MSRP. I don't mind payineg $900 to get one delivered from back east if I have to, as long as I get the one I want..so any of you order your mini's from a distance and have it trucked to you? Which dealership do you recommend to buy a Mini? I'm ready to buy if I can just find the right place..help? MINI is a way of life! |

Offline | Mini Towson was the nearest dealer to me. So far the experience has been OK. Ben Edwards the MA has been great and the price is MSRP. No doubt I will find out more when I get delivery ![]() Bill BRG/W MCS with UJ decal & white bonnet stripes |

| #1647 of 1960 | Checkered Flag BMW is right next to where I work, and where MINIs are prepped at. Checkered Flag MINI is just a few miles down the street. I highly recommend Graham Hardwick, a Brit, as a great MINI salesman. I have been hearing not-too-good-at-all feedback about Checkered Flag Service,(at the BMW site) though. |

| Loves the Fuzzy One | I haven't had the problems these other guys have, but then, I'm a lot more forgiving. Add to that, I haven't had problems with my car that needed a trip back to service. ![]() Global Moderator Last edited by AprilWhine : Jun 19th, 2003 at 04:53 PM. |

Offline | Rydale Central (Birmingham) I went to Rydale Central because they had shown me nothing but good service in previous years, when I ran a couple of Company BMW 318SE's. They gave me many test drives, never hassled me, and were always supportive: even though the knew that I never had anything to do with the places where they were purchases/leased from. Their post-sales Service department are unbelievable too. Second to none. Truely they have the patience of saints to deal with my picky nature. And their mechanics and valets do a brilliant job on an excellent product as well. *** You should all be proud at Rydale Central *** When I eventually had a chance to to buy a car of my own, the decision to buy a MINI Cooper S was an easy one. I hadn't got any chance of getting a 'discount' from any dealer in the UK, but I truely felt like I owed Rydale Central the sale. So that's what I did. I bought it from them - and their Service ever since has been - dare I say it - EVEN BETTER STILL!!! Many thanks, |
