Offline | Mini Servicing in North London - Hertfordshire Does anyone have much experience of the Mini dealers in North London/Hertfordshire areas with regards to servicing, repairs & after sales service in general? My vehicle is with a dealer in herts. (not naming them until I get my car back!) for a warranty repair and it is difficult to get an answer from them regards progress. They dont ring you back when they say they will. They dont make sure the courtesy car extensions are up to date. They took ages to find a problem when the Mini emergency service engineer took 10 minutes & when told of the problem they still couldn't fix it after having the vehicle for over a week. (funny how parts are always due tommorrow & never today) Furthermore, I expect more than a shabby waiting room with dirty uncomfortable seats & a lengthy wait before anyone notices your arrival. Especially so after spending £18,000 on a car. Anyone who knows of a more friendly & helpful dealer in the area please, please, please let me know! Cheers! Offline | Sytner Gerrards Cross have an excellent service department. I took my BMW there until I realised a service cost half the price to take it to a specialist instead. But as you have TLC, cost isn't an issue! I'm getting my MINI from Stephen James in Enfield, they have just built a big service center, I don't know how good it is yet, but might be worth a try if it's closer. Milcars suck ![]() |

Offline | Cheers for that. Might try Stephen James for my next pitstop. It's a bit closer to me than Styners. So you recognised the dealer I went to then? Was that by the location or by the level of customer service? ;-) EB/W Cooper S - Chilli Pack - Sunroof - MFSW - build date August '02 |

Offline | Is Luton too far to travel? I got my car from Specialist Luton, and there standard of service has always been excellent. Wouldn't recommend Specialist Stevenage - too many bad stories!! ![]() |
