Red Cooper Vote of confidence for Momentum MINI

After reading all this, I cannot believe some of you are going on and on about buying the car and then still haven't managed to complete the deal yet. You either want it now and are prepared to pay the price or you are willing to wait, let them become more ubiquitous, all the while searching for the 'deal' of the century. Get over it and buy the freaking car already!
I purchased my red/white Cooper on Dec 11th with no problem. I walked in on my lunch hour, found the car I wanted and picked it up that night - with the windows tinted and fully washed. I paid under MSRP as well! It can be done, you just have to realize that someone will always pay more that you and someone will always pay less. Just like an airline seat. The question is: do you want the car or not? By the way, I purchased it from Momentum and have nothing but good things to say about the transaction. No hard feelings meant, but sometimes we need to realize that this is just a car and they make millions of them everyday. Or is that millions off them? see everyone at the Houston MINI meeting this Sunday!

*chuckle* That was never the question; it was, instead: Do I want to do business with honest people?

And bringing the early problems with Momentum to light has been constructive, as demonstrated by the experience you've just had; you're a beneficiary of changes made there. That's been the point from the start: to help other MINIphiles have a good experience, whether by buying elsewhere, or helping Momentum to grow.

It sounds to me like they HAVE grown, and have helped more people have good experiences recently. I think that's neat, and I applaud the changes, and most of all, I'm glad it's worked out well for you.

See you Sunday!

Warmly,
wynn

I read all the reviews about Momentum and their business practices to prepare myself to do business with them. I never encountered any of the arrogance, nor was I ever pressured to purchase anything extra. Andres was a pleasure to deal with and I paid MSRP on a car that came to the dealer from the Auto show. When I inquired about the Rally Lamps for the front of the car I was purchasing, Andres even went as far as to suggest I wait for aftermarket lights because he didn't really care for the mounting brackets on the factory lights. I've never encountered a dealer who was honest enough to suggest waiting for an aftermarket product at his own expense. I would/will do business with Momentum again if the need arises.

See you all on Sunday...

2003 MCS DS/B Premium, Sport, Cold, Black/Blue Leather, Tint. Mini-Madness intake on order.
