| Trained Monkey | Well, I'll wait till this fiasco (and it literally just got worse) has played out, then I'll let people know). Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

| Trained Monkey | It'd be a long walk from Leighton Buzzard, but right now, that appears my best bet to get back to Milton Keynes. Certainly wont be driving. Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

| Trained Monkey | You must be joking However I foolishly chose them to carry out some warranty work despite my previous dealings and poor word of mouth reputation. Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

| Trained Monkey | I'm not going to say or do anything more here until there's some kind of conclusion. I've put the ball in their court so to speak, and I'm waiting to see how well they (Victoria, MINI UK, whoever) deal with a very stupid and upsetting situation they have placed me in. Offline | Hey Paul hope all goes well and do keep us posted... The dealer I am using at the mo has a new sales person who is not on the ball, as his predecesor. He is a nice guy and all that but doesn't seem to clued up... sure he'll get better as its slightly different from a shoe salesman. I haven't even got my car and I am booking Peak run Hotels and in the middle of ordering clear lights.. sheesh man But got to say this site is Gr8, maybe the mechanics at your place should visit this site? Anyways hope all gets sorted ![]() Does my @rse look big in this broom broom |

| Trained Monkey | Don't get me wrong about their sales dept. I've not found them BAD, just 'could do better' (although, if you had to draw a line, could do better is more bad than good I guess). If I'm spending £14k (which my Cooper cost) or £17k (which is about what the S will cost) I want to feel people REALLY want my money and custom, which is why myself and at least four of my friends/relatives have spent an average of £15k each elsewhere, would have been an X-5 too if it were not for the silly waiting times. I've not been 'shopping' there for a while, so their sales team could be (and I have heard they are from independent sources) much improved more recently. I probably wouldn't be so mad if I didn't feel like a fool for going back to a place that had not given me good service in the (recent) past. What's the phrase involving a gun and your own foot? I'm also annoyed that my Cooper has let me down so often recently, whoever is to blame (either badly built or badly repaired). Just as well I'm such an enthusiast, or I would no doubt cancel my S order right now and go for another brand at the moment. On the plus side, I have spoken to the dealer principle (and I did speak, not bark this time) and he actually sounds keen to get things resolved. I hope this comes through. A friend of mine who used to be high up at Volkswagen group said that a customer that had problems and had them resolved to their satisfaction did, in general, prove much more loyal to the brand than a person who never had a problem at all. Something that I believe is very true. Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

| Trained Monkey | Well... I no longer own a MINI, Victoria own one more, and I wish them the best of luck selling it. Paul Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

| Trained Monkey | Lets just say what should have been a (fairly) routine fixing of clutch and seat turned out to be much more. Third time unlucky. Paul Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |
