Offline | My understanding is that Checkered Flag MINI in VB, VA applies an badge on vehicles that pass through there. Does anyone have a vehicle from them and can post a pic of the badge? Thanks His: '03 DS/B MCS ; '98 R1100R75 Hers: '02 Toyota Prius; '02 Yamaha VStar Custom |

Offline | Go HERE. The badge is a variant of the logo in the center of the Checkered Flag homepage (which is a multi-segment .GIF), with the addition of a ring around the logo with the dealer's name. It's actually well done and fairly classy. Hope this helps. 2nd "Go not to the elves for counsel for they will say both no and yes." JRR Tolkien |

Offline | Thank you Thanks to both obehave and 2nd mini. I didn't think of going to the company's 'family' page. 2nd MINI: obehave's has no wording. Has the badge changed? His: '03 DS/B MCS ; '98 R1100R75 Hers: '02 Toyota Prius; '02 Yamaha VStar Custom |

Offline | I thought I saw one recently with a ring and a thick clear layer over everything. But you know, it was a fleeting glance. 2nd "Go not to the elves for counsel for they will say both no and yes." JRR Tolkien |

Offline | Obehave, the badge looks great! Even better without "free advertising." I recently got a British Racing Club badge which I am considering putting on my grill. Have just been a little nervous about scratching the grill while installing, so have put it on the back burner for a bit. "Sunshine and Peace." - Maxamini ![]() |

Offline | The one obehave posted is the same one they're currently using. It does have a thick clear layer on top of it and is pretty nice looking compared to what most dealerships use, IMO. It can be removed by carefully heating it up with a hairdryer and gently peeling it off. The adhesive will get a bit stronger over time, so if you must remove it, do it soon after you get your car. Older ones can be removed as well, but take greater care when doing it. Any residual adhesive can be removed with Goof-Off (or the like), and I would recommend following up with a clay bar. |
