Offline | PART 2-- attention so cal future MINI owners. Found a great dealer--in Memphis TN Hello MINI fans! The Wife and I did a Mini dealer Marathon last Saturday in L.A. to back up and provide more info on So Cal dealers, that i wrote in my first thread in dealer feed back. The first place we stoped was Nick Alexander MINI. Don't let the neighborhood scare you its a very nice place. The sales man name was Shep Nelson. He was sick that day but was very cool, calm and courtious. We told him we haven't heard the Harman/Kardon stereo and he handed us a CD and said we could play it in the MCS in the show room. That stereo rocks! Some cars on the lot did NOT have a mark up but, most had a $3400.00 mark up.customer service a 8, selection on floor a 6, local a 4 (hard to find). Our next stop Long Beach MINI. What can I say.....If the eight Mini dealerships I've been to were resturants they would be a fine steak house; Long Beach Mini would be a McDonalds. It is true they sell at MSRP However, The sales staff looked like high school just let out and they had the aditude to match. The person that helped us, I wont mention a name on this one, was starving to death. the person could not put down the patatoe chips while talking to me. As I was dodging projectiles, I was told it would be a year befor I could even think about even ordering the "S" plus manufacture time. for a total of 15 month wait. Ouch! they had plenty of regular mini's on the lot and no "s"'s except wich was all ready sold. Customer service 2, selection on floor a 5, local 9. Next stop Crevier Mini. This place is A-1 set up. The pepole are absolutely incredible! The guy that helped me here was Ken Feskanich, very nice and "egear" to sell in a enthusdastic way. I talked to him a couple months prior to meeting him. there mark up is still the same $3400 if you order or $5000 off the lot. After talking with him I went to track down my wife I found her talking to Shirin LoshBaugh sales receptionist. She is a very funny nice lady. Unfortunatly, she is leaving next month back to Oregon. We bought a couple of shirts and left. Customer service 10, selection on floor a 7, local 7 (very conjested area). Our last stop Irvine Mini. For the most cars on the lot especialy the "s" this is it! They had a lot of MCS'S their. The man that helped us was Aaron Escarrega, you can tell he was green in the car selling game but, he is a good kid. Polite and took time to think and answere questions. ther mark up is $2500 dollars and nonflexable. They did have a regular Mini for sale on sale for a great price. customer service 8,selection on floor a 10, local 4 ( alot of twisty roads and incomplete roads. real easy to get lost.). If I had to choose it would either be Crevier or Nick Alexander because of customer service and that "good ol' feeling." Yes, they do have a mark up but it is flexable at their dealers. I'm still partial to Roadshow however, because they are at MSRP and have top notch service. The only drag is paying to ship it out here. If I can get either Crevier or Nick Alexander to come down to MSRP I would be willing to give them the extra $1000 that i would have to pay for shiping. Well Mini fans-thanks, Tavis ![]() |

| MINI2 Senior | MSRP + $1,000 Shipping + HAVING IT NOW = MORE FUN IMMEDIATELY! ![]() If you are looking to buy out of state and pay to ship, also remember that MINI of the Hamptons on Long Island, NY has both S and Coopers on the lot ready to go. They can ship as well. There may be other dealers as well, but MOTH is the only one I am aware of. Guess the East Coast just hasn't warmed up enough yet to have a lot of volume buying. ![]() Dave Gotten anything useful from MINI2? How about giving a little something back?
