Roadshow MINI Money Question?

My Indi Blue MC has been on order, and is at code 150 right now, having gotten there on July 4.

In all my excitement, I decided to look over the original booking order that I got from Roadshow MINI as an email, and noticed that the Type of Sale said Finance Deal. Since I had planned to purchase this in CASH, does any one know if this will affect the delivery of my car?

I wouldn't think so, as it seems this should be a customer/dealer issue, not customer/manufacturer, but was just curious if any other Roadshow MINI customers ran into a similar problem, and what did you do to fix it?

Can't speak for RoadShow, but can't imagine it is an issue. You could change your mind at any time, including the very time at which you are standing at R/S to pick up your MINI. This was true on many deals I did while selling Fords in Memphis. All cash, part cash - part trade, no trade, all finance - etc.

Who's your salesperson? Looks like we'll both be ready about 8//10-12 instead of 8/20-25 as we were told. Made the Jingu Maru today, although it was reaaaaallll close.

You are lucky. I can't find any info on my VIN at WW, so sad to say I didn't make the boat. Regarding my post, I talked to my rep, John Lloyd and we corrected everything back to a cash deal.

Now I'm wondering, what if anything are you having done to you car by the dealer? I've heard lots of people recommending the clear bra, but I haven't been able to get a straight answer about dealer options, so I'm really not sure what they can do. I even tried to submit a parts request quote online and a week later, my rep sends an email asking, Are you trying to order parts? No prices, and no reply to me saying YES.

Classic MINI is my #1 source for parts but I was interested in a S skirt that Classic said was too expensive to ship.

I've only heard good things about RS but I wouldn't say I'm absolutely thrilled about them as a dealer. Basically what peeves me is that they don't reply to my inquiries about options or parts.
