I would like to say thanks to Otto's MINI, they have been great. I went to Otto's on 7/18 and was able to place an order for a 2004 MCS with a production date of 9/19. Went back yesterday for a second test drive as my wife had not been able to got with me the first time. My wife was a little afraid of the car but Joe, our motoring Advisor, offered to setup another test drive just for her. We have been really happy with their service and hope it continues.

Also on a good note, I checked today and found the production date has moved up to 9/12.

I ordered a Mini Cooper from Otto's on June 5th. Three days after the dealership opened for business. Kimberly is my motoring advisor. She's great. It was only her second day on the job when I walked into the dealership. Everyone is very nice and professional,and really eager to sell you a car. The dealership is beautiful. I can see why it took so long for the dealership to open. Otto's is really getting into the swings of things now. I believe they are sponsering at leat one Mini event in the Philadelphia area for Aug. I recommend this dealership highly.

Talked to Kimberly about ordering a 2004 MCS and flying out from LA to Philly to pick it up. I have a brother who lives in Yardley. Visit the family, pick up the toy.

Anyway, was the car sold at MSRP without any cute "document" or BS "get ready" fees? Most of the dealers I've spoken to who claim they're selling at MSRP (unlike here in California) where they admit they're pigs) actually tack on some non-useful add-ons to jack the price.

The car is being sold to me at MSRP. All they asked for was a $500.00 deposit,and I ordered a car. They asked me if I wanted any accessories like floor carpets,or the rubber mats,I told them no,I'll buy them on my own. They said fine.

There was no "hard sell". I didn't feel pushed or rushed in any way.

If your still not sure,talk to Kimberly's boss. Hugo VanGreen. He is the Mini brand manager at the dealership. He seems very nice and easy to talk to.

Hi Steve,

I'm not sure when the car is suppose to show up. The car was build on July 6th. It sat on the docks in the UK for about two weeks, and finally arrived in the US at the VDC on Monday(the 28th). But now I'm hearing that a backlog is forming at the VDC due to all the 03 cars coming in to make room for the 04's.

That was long winded! If I had to guess,I would say by the second week of August. I haven't heard from the dealership yet which means they don't know either.
