I had my MCS in for some unscheduled warranty issues this past Monday (July 28). The service rep (Paul) was very pleasant and helpful, and estimated that the wait time would be ~1 1/2 hours. Myself, bro, and his fiancee got a ride to the local Perkins for breakfast and a ride home about an hour later. Service was done nicely and on time. My warranty issues are being taken care of.

Fast forward 4 1/2 hours (my drive home). I step out of my car and about have a heart attack. It looked like my MCS experienced extensive damage all around. I immediately gave Paul a call regarding the issue. He was nice, expressed his concern, and said he would talk to Scott (the serice mgr). I spoke to Scott later in the evening and got the situation clarified over the phone. What I thought was damage was in fact, something I had done to the car (not damaged). Phew! All is better and I had a nice chat with Scott regarding non-MINI things.

BTW, if Scott reads this, I appreciate the help. And you and your wife should vacation out in southwestern CO. You just might like it.

Overall, I was very pleased with my service at Motorwerks. Its further to Minneapolis than it is to Kansas City, but I will glady drive the extra hour.

So what did you do to the car to make you think it was damaged????????
