Offline | Dealers @ MSRP I am currently looking purchase a mini, hopefully before the coming winter. As such, I am looking for dealers with short waits. I have found a couple (spoke recently with Niello) with short lists but a $2500 markup. There is a lot of talk on here about never paying over MSRP, and that there are dealers out there with short lists and are still selling at MSRP. I would greatly appreciate your help in compiling a list of dealers known to be able to place a September (or so) build order with out an excessive markup. I dont particularly care where the dealers are located as shipping is a lot cheaper than most markups. Thanks. |

| MINI2 Regular | I recently spoke to evey dealer in the US looking for the same thing. Here's a best recommendation - Moritz Mini in Texas. MSRP plus a $50.00 "document" fee. They tell me they can get a car in 8 weeks. Ask for Chris Lord. I was also dealing with Mini of Nashville only to find that they tacked on a $299.00 fee plus a .003% local municipal tax. I'm not sure where you are located, but here in California the state will deduct local taxes paid from the sales tax due at registration. You might also try Kimberly Meissner at Otto Mini in West Chester, PA. They're selling at strictly MSRP but if you live in the west the additional shipping charges outweigh the $50 Moritz charges. Goodluck and please post from whom you finally order. We're all interested. 2004 Chilli Red MCS/ White. Cordoba Leather Interior. Sport, premium, cold package, driving lights, & stripes. ![]() visit us at USBLUESTATES.COM |

| MINI2 Newbie | I agree with Plugot. I ordered mine from Moritz Mini in Arlington Texas (817) 436-5725 or minisales01@moritzmail.com - I had originally placed an order for an '03 BRG MCS and wanted the Cordoba Beige leather, but had to settle for black leather. When the '04 info came out, I gave up my 8/15 build and had them order the '04 with Cordoba Beige leather. They were REALLY supportive and a great help! I worked with Richard Mills. Now I have a 09/05 build date. First week production '04 versus last run '03! Give them a call as they are MSRP and no dealer add-ons! What's a $50 document fee when some of the CA dealers in the SF area are getting $3000 on the MCS and $1500 on the Cooper. I was out ther in June of last year and they told me they were only interested in serving their Bay Area clientele and weren't interested in selling to someone out of State! NOT SO at Moritz! |

| MINI2 Newbie | I ordered from Keeler MINI in Latham, NY (near Albany). I ordered on July 3rd and should be taking delivery in about two weeks. They also had some in stock (but only red and yellow, which I wasn't interested in). I paid MSRP as well. So far, they've been great. |

Offline | MINI of the Hamptons has tons in stock, and 20 more that are in the pipe and not on their Website. They only charge MSRP and about $800 for uncovered shipping. I'm getting mine from Ohio, Midwestern MINI. They just happened to have the one I wanted coming in a month, and it's at MSRP. Woo hoo! =^.^= Almost here: EB/W, 1,2,3, H/K, auto wipers, stripes |

| Jedi Master | Cincinnati, if not all of the Ohio dealers, are at cost, with no required dealer options. I talked to Gibson at Cincy the other day, and she said she had several clients from California either ready to come in to pick up their cars, waiting for their "ship to come in", or had just placed their order. IB/IB Cooper, Black Leather, every option except CVT, (plus bonnet stripes, rally lights, aero rear spoiler and floor mats). |

Offline | Mini of Fairfield County (in CT, about half an hour outside New York City) is awesome! We just ordered a new '04 EB/B MCS from MoFC this weekend, and couldn't be happier with the experience! Paid MSRP, no requirement for dealer installed accessories (altho we did spec it out with some of our own volition ), and got a relatively short (6-8 week) ship time.Best of all, our MA, Peter Braun, is amazing: he's a certified miniac!! He's owned 18 Minis (17 of the 'original' Minis, and a lovely '02 MCS). There may be one or two things Peter doesn't know about MINIs, but after about a bizillion questions I've yet to stump him ) No pressure, no bull, no waiting for email replies: this guy just loves MINIs! |

Offline | Another plug for Moritz MINI in Arlington, TX. Dealer states that in-stock MINIs are being sold at MSRP while a competitor across town is currently charging MSRP + $2K US. When placing order a couple of weeks ago, there were a couple of S's in-stock and available for immediate sale. |

Offline | I got mine from Brian Harris last week, and they were great to deal with! Straight MSRP, no pressure to get upgrades -- but most of all, they can get you an MC or MCS quick!! Forget world peace -- visualize using your turn signals! ![]() Late 2003 BRG/W MCS from Brian Harris Mini in Baton Rouge, LA now at home in Oakland, CA ![]() |
