Offline | Cooper Reading Mini Dealership Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone in the UK looking to buy a mini or have one serviced that lives within driving distance of the Reading, Berkshire area looking for a good dealership. I've had great experiences with the Cooper Group's Mini dealership in Reading for service. Everytime I've had my car serviced there it's been a great experience. Their aftersales service is definitely the best of any Mini dealership I've been to. Regards, DM Last edited by Drachenmini : Aug 11th, 2003 at 03:41 PM. |

Offline | Rydale Central in Birmingham also has very good aftersales service. The only thing I dont recommend is if you have a problem with your airconditioning dont send it to them there subcontractor screwed up the airconditioning system on my M3 and also whoever was driving my car scraped my front spoiler and did $450 damage to it. But for servicing and sales, excellent dealer 10/10. Regards |

| I'd also recommend Cooper Mini in Reading for sales. Can't think of many car dealers who would be quite so accomodating when a bank messes up when someone is trying to pay for a car (poor guy spent three hours on the phone on a Saturday evening so that I could take my car home that day rather than have to wait until the following week). Not yet met the after sales guys.... K. |

Offline | I paid a visit to the Reading dealership in May, and after spending about 20 minutes discussing my requirements, the sales guy made a note of my name and telephone number - on a scrap of paper - not very prefessional. Not surprisingly, I have yet to hear from the dealership. Not surprisingly, another dealership subsequently took my order and delivered my car in early July. It's good to hear of instances of 'above and beyond' the call of duty, but consistency is also a key factor that can separate the good from the average. For myself, first impressions did indeed count. |
