| Bring the noise | That's pretty good going, the voucher sounds rather useful. Still seems the dealers aren't being over generous.... Just will be a while before I get by 2nd MINI..... |

Offline | I took the wife and two kids along to Barons Mini Farnborough when I placed my Mini Cooper order and left it up to my wife to blag the goodies! We ended up with:- 1. Two Mini rucksacks filled with cleaning stuff in each for the grown ups. 2. A fluffy mini cushion in indie blue to match my car for my 9 month old daughter. 3. A yellow fluffy mini rucksack for my 2 yearl old boy. 4. A 1/2 bottle of Mini Champagne which we saved and cracked open on new years eve. 5. Four tiny pull back & Go/fridge magnet model minis. 6. A bag of sweets for my boy. I reckon this was pretty generous, not sure if this is the norm or whether it was the cute factor of having the kids there or just an attempt to try and keep them quiet and stop my boy clambering all over the showroom display car! All I need now is the car which is currently estimated for delivery later this month, - Indie Blue Cooper, White roof & Mirrors, Cooper bonnet stripes, Chili Pack, Black half leather interior, Silver int trim, Chrome line exterior, Panoramic Sunroof, Manual Air Con, Sports Suspension +, Radio Boost/CD. Can't wait my old Rover 200 is getting very boring so please don't let it be delivered late!!! Cookie |

Online | Quarter of a tank of petrol (despite having paid for a whole one) which I managed to use within an hour as I had to drive home and back to the dealer to pick up my driving licence which I'd forgotten ![]() One crappy BMW key ring (holds the spare non-remote key). One MINI keyring with the orange insert thingy. All in all, not very generous at all. I'll try harder next time ![]() However, I did get a birthday card (for the MINI, not me) in October! |

Offline | I got them to throw in the 5 years servicing for free. I tried to get the CD Changer, I was so close, but they wouldn't do it. They told me over the phone that they would do their best. They gave me some sob story about barely making a profit as it was. I bought my BMW from the same dealer the year before and I told them I'm planning to replace it with a new one in 2005. (in the hope that they'd want to keep me sweet). Advice, aim low and you'll be pleased with anything. James - "The Rogue" - DS/W MCS |

![]() Some have THICK skins!!!! | I was going to get a free boquet of flowers worth £15 but why the hell does a guy want flowers. When I dropped off my insurance details etc they asked me if I would like clear reapeters instead - worth £25 fitted. Obviously I chose the repeaters. | MINI2 Regular | I got a FREE...yes, FREE glass of water. Hubby got a FREE coffee. We walked out with all the free paperwork they can give you, along with two MINI keychains. Oh yeah...the dealer threw in the bonnet stripes for FREE. I picked up the car two days before Christmas. I tell my friends it was a Christmas present and now they are all jealous and think I have the best husband that ever existed. I'll get milk...be back in a few (hours).Mini's have an affect on people. Take me for example. In a haste and anxious moment, I agreed with my husband to sell my beautiful Plum Crazy Purple 1984 Jeep CJ-7 so that I can get a state-of-the-art MINI Cooper. We needed room in the garage. Sigh. On to bigger (uh...ok not really), but BETTER things. |

Offline | Sytners of Solihull - No 1 MINI dealers. Well where do I start......With the wifes 1st Cooper we got the MINI winged keyring and a 1/18th model Mini Cooper model (Red to match) - when I collected mine in Aug 2003 we got another MINI winged keyring, 1/18th MINI Cooper S model (Electric Blue to match), MINI Sunglasses for my wife, 2 bottles of Wine, MINI pull back fridge magnet, MINI mints, Electric Blue MINI badge, and 2 MINI baseball caps - not to finish there when I went to collect mine they had accidently ordered the wrong colour interior (black instead of blue) so they kindly compensated me with fitted front spots, clear rear lights and a CD changer all f.o.c. - and theres more, my wife has ordered her new Cooper S, delivery begining of Feb, and so far (incase they read this), they have thrown in fitted chequered roof decal, (perforated for the sunroof) and bonnet stripes. I take my hat off to our dealers, Sytners of Solihull, and to Jon and Gary and the rest of the team, who put them selves out for us, and all their customers from what I have seen from my visits, no matter what the query, their service is 2nd to none. ![]() EB/W - CHILLI PK - VIS PK - S/ROOF - MFSW - TRIP - NOW WITH CLEAR REARS - FRONT SPOTS - CD CHANGER - STRIPES - JC SIGNATURES |

Offline | Did anyone from the London area get their Mini from the Park Lane branch? I dealt with a guy called Alex there who seemed very cool, but Im not sure if he's going to lay on much in the way of feebies! Any past experience of that happening there? Cheers, Adam. |

Offline | Sorry. My dealership has been very kind to me and my family (my father bought a MCS from them as well) and i don't want to ruin that. I will, however give you a partial list of what i recieved from my MA: 2 T-Shirts, Bucket Hat, chrome tire valve covers, chrome license plate frame. Those gifts seem to be pretty standard, but I also recieved several other gifts from the dealership as "engagement gifts" but i would not feel right disclosing those as they are alot more substantial than the above. Cheers. |

Offline | I have just ordered a new mini one ... dealer told me there were definatley no free bees, the profit margin was too small ! Anyway, after alot of 'umming' and 'arring' and looking sorry for myself I was promised a free key ring and free fitting for my chrome exhaust tail pipe - big deal when I'd spent nearly £12,000!Little Blue One |
