Well, it's good to see some one else is got about the same as me... I got (the day before Farley...)

Car
Bill for $2K more than anticipated (from night before)
2 keys on cheap silver rings - no key chain
Tank of gas - I think full - haven't filled it up yet
A super quick turn around time and a really nice MA...

Would have loved some freebies - but what can you do... I guess I didn't spend enough $$ (haha)
heck - with my old VW they even threw in the floormats - these I had to buy! Maybe next time! Oh - and no drinks (none even offered), no snacks - but then I brought them mini pastry... What are you gonna do? Call them up and say give me free stuff? Well - that is an idea... Maybe when I have to go in for service... hmmmmm

SMILES!

Hmmmmm

Thanks MiniMamaMia---They actually have them at my dealer for the same price on ebay (and I wouldn't have to pay shipping) plus I have my gift certificate to spend! But I know I'll end up spending more than that $25 as I have other things in mind.... : )

So - had to head back to the dealer to sign more papers... though for sure I'd get something this time around... still empty handed. Some day.... I have to believe some day I'll get something... Just one thing... sigh....

Some dealers can be really stingey ! The stuff isn't the be all and end all, but it's all part of the fun !
Popped past the factory today, took Dunk to his birthplace !

I went in expecting nothing but a “thanks for your business”. I knew from the day I ordered the car that I would be getting the floor mats thrown in, because I had wanted to order them and my MA told me not to worry they include them.

My list is short n sweet. Full tank of premium gasoline, carpeted floor mat set, cup holder thingey, a fairly nice keyring … which I’ll probably keep using just cause I don’t think I can get the key off of it…. Um does everyone get the road atlas book? That’s a fun little thing. And I think that’s really about it. Oh yeah, Mini Smints.

I don't drive too fast ... you just look too slow! We're not lost ... this is the scenic route

Still waiting for a keyring and smints... and I had to buy my floor mats... grumble grumble...

Plus side - when I buy by euro tray - they'll pop it in for me - free of charge! woo hoo!

And yeah - I believe the road atlas comes with the owners manual... marketing gimic ya know...

Still having a blast - nice to see you haven't abandoned us all together!!!

I wanted the $250 AUD option floor mats.

I told them to throw them in as a condition of sale. Then got an extra $1000 on my trade-in, as another condition of sale So they'll probably stinge me on any possible free stuff

Free stuff.

I picked my MCS yesterday and got a bunch of flowers for my girlfriend and nothing else.
My car did have a full tank of fuel, but on checking the paperwork I had paid for it.
In fairness to the dealer they had given me the luggage for half price ( to keep me sweet)
so I suppose they felt I,d had enough freebies.

Luggage is awesome ! Flowers are a neat touch, although I think girls prefer diamonds !
Bit cheeky for the fuel !
Such a strong selling car still, which is great for resale, but not for freebies ! But I know which I'd choose...

did you know the full price of fuel is not a freebie and was part of the BMW "il-have-your-car-here-ready-to-drive" package?

Look at your invoice - its on it!

I've been quoted £350 to Superguard and £49 to fill with fuel and leave a litre of oil in the boot.
I've suggested £120 to Superguard and free fuel and oil.
I'm waiting for a response.

But.... I want the car (Convertible) and they can get me one for August - earlier than anyone else I have tried - so what do you do?
