Offline | I haven't picked up my R56 yet, but my dealership told me that he was giving me floor mats and rear fog lights. I didn't have to bargain, my sales rep gave them to me out of sheer niceness. ![]() |

Offline | I got free Spot lights and Ipod Connector. Due to the delay - I also ended up getting the storage pack - which wasn't included when I originally expected the car. But didn't get the free bag with wash stuff in it. I also have non working Sat Nav and Non Working DAB Radio <ho hum> |

Offline | Gift from the mini dealer Got home today to find that I have a letter from my local mini dealer, Rydale Sutton (where I recently bought my (used) mini from) giving me a free gift of a portrait photo at venture photographers. I must admit I wasn't exepcting a gift so it was a nice surprise, even though it wouldn't be my cup of tea - can't see me and hubs posing in a photo studio Anyone else get a free gift with their mini? |

![]() Rhymes with depravity | A friend of mine had the offer of one of these and ended up spending about £400 on photos - think it's a bit of a high pressure thing but still, nice of them to offer! My MINI dealership(s) have never given me anything gratis, but the service is great and that's more than enough ![]() |

| Are we nearly there yet? | You want to be a bit careful - once they have you in the studio they will push all sorts of gorgeous canvas effect pictures, nicely framed, very special (and expensive). How do I know? I have a relative in the pro-photography bbusiness, and this is how he makes his money! Freebies from my MINI dealer? I received a funny promotion recently - a pair of black shoelaces with MINI printed all along them in white. Not very practical, but a bit cute. Maybe I should try them on eBay!!! Before that, it was a small piece of black towelling - I think for wiping my screen or something. I have also had a MINI hat out of him, a few pens and those magnetic MINI miniatures, and of course invites to the big preview party for the Italian Job movie. So I'm not complaining. |

Offline | Hello!! You could always take pics yourself! they always turn out the best, I think! Pictures of ur mini adventures! I regret not taking enough pictures of my Mini when i had her! (still regret trading her for an X3). I got a big bunch of flowers too when i picked her up from the dealers! was a bit gutted cos i'm not really a flower girl, i wud have preferred one of those cute Mini soft toys or bottle of champers (haha dream on eh!). I got a better gift for the bimmer - a cool rucksack with a full range of cleaning products!! (actually encourages me to wash the car! hehe!) Dalboyne - who's ur Mini dealer? Maybe I'll get my next Mini from them Not just yet tho, only had bimmer for 7weeks! (still getting used to it, and still missing Mini LOTS!) |
