Offline | No, no no no! You've got it all wrong. It's not a plain paper bag, - this is the new 7 series so that would not do at all! Instead it's a high-tech space age fiber bag fitted with temperature and humidity sensors that control special heating and cooling units in addition to the constant flow ventilation system. It is, of course, controlled by the 7-series I-drive system and only requires 8 distinct steps to follow when putting it on or taking it off of the driver's head. ![]() + 2002 MINI Cooper S - Dark Silver / White roof, Sport, Premium, Lapis blue leather + 1965 Mini Traveller - Tartan Red / White roof, 1275, Cooper S discs, fully restored/renewed Last edited by BruceK : May 27th, 2002 at 06:20 PM. |

Offline | Picked up my S at Lauderdale MINI on 5/24 and received: Carpeted floor mats Full tank of gas CD of choice Heavy chromed MINI keyring with dealer's # on back MINI badge keyring, circle cable MINI lapel pin SMints Florida doesn't require a front license plate, got a nice black/white/silver MINI badge plate instead (matches MINI's colors too) Generous I thought, and I'm very pleased. This was a pre-spec that came with 17" R85 S spoke wheels, but I really wanted the R90 cross spokes. The only ones available were on an aero kit Cooper in the showroom. Bonnie the MINI manager arranged a full credit for my R85's and had vehicle prep swap the R90's onto my S. This is a 1st Class operation from start to finish, I can't recommend them highly enough. | Bring the noise | Sealevel, That's a ver commendable 'amount' of stuff there, and top service too.....close to head of the list I reckon ! BruceK, I have been in touch with BMW with regards to optional disguise option for the new 7 series. I was informed that 'The spokesman for that model is unavailable for comment, he's, er , well, he's, um, well, yes, ahem, he's out researching the I drive, er I meant Xbox bag add ons...' |

| MINI2 Newbie | I went to the mini dealer and all I brought back was... A T-Shirt. But, a very cool one. Has the mini logo on the back and a picture of an odometer on the front with 000162 on it. I was the 162 "S" purchaser. They are going to give out 200. And the mints. Anybody know where to get a key fob with the mini logo on it? -jtpr NH "SPRCHGD" DS/Black/Bonnet Strips -S- '64 Austin Healey 3000 BJ7 |

Offline | Good idea Paul Got a free CD Autochanger as compensation for all the niggly faults we've suffered. The car seems to have a homing instinct every two months, but we still love it! |
