I managed to get the following:

The MINI keyring
The MINI penset
Full tank of petrol
Private plate made up

I didn't think that was bad. Since that I've also had one of my alloys repaired foc following a minor scuff with a curb which was worth about £45.

Oh and on a dealership feedback point Howarth of Newcastle is no more! Its now Knights of Newcastle.

Regards
Christopher

What I got:

- full tank of petrol
- 15% discount on all accessories purchased the day I picked my car up (I bought an outdoor cover, a boot organizer, maybe a few other things)
- 10% discount on all accessories purchased since then, including several hats and clear tail lights.

Global Imports gave me a keyring (MINI logo on one side and dealer ad on the other) and some MINI advertising literature. There was supposed to be a couple of "Mini Moon Pies", but they forgot those.

Question Freebee?

I only got a full tank of gas by the time I picked up my MINI and I have not received anything from the dealership since then. Did anyone receive any freebee from the East Bay MINI or MINIUSA?

I must be doing something wrong.

My wife and I each bought a MINI from the same salesperson and all we got was a handshake, full tank of gas and the cars.

Me think I got ripped off.

You BOTH got Minis? That's great. Any pics?

PS When your kids get Minis, go to a different salesperson.

Besides the usual handbooks and paperwork, I got a little hamper thing with one red, one white 25cl bottles of Hardys wine, plus a box of 6 chocolates and a jar of olives. But then I also got a noisy gearbox which needs attention, and I didn't ask for that either!

My mini stuff was getting stolen. All I was receiving in the mail was empty envelopes from Mini Canada . I E-Mailed them and didn't hear from them till yesterday. In the mail box was a yellow envelope and it was hand addressed. It was Mini Canada sending me a pile of magazines and other mini stuff. I was really impressed.

I got...

A crap BMW key ring which I chucked in the bin when I got home...

Some really badly retouched paint chips on my passenger door and really bad service when I complained about them! You can't notice them much because the PS paint job is so bad, I have seen better paint jobs on a Hyundai!

Later on I got a MINI key ring... it broke.

They replaced it... it broke.

I still love the car, I just hope the next one has a better paint job!
