Silver Black My MINI stuff arrived today!

I just picked up a MINI package in front of my apartment. It was sent by MINIUSA and it has a welcome note, a MINI messaging kit, two MINI Bingo cards, a MINI pen, a MINI notebook, a MINI roadside assistance card, a booklet of "Top 10 idiosyncrasies of your MINI", a MINI fashion clothing booklet and a MINI rubber band. They were wrapped with a very nice red wrapping paper. Anyway, today is my MINI three months old anniversary! I'm a happy minimao!

I found the same type package when I got home yesterday.

Coincidence?

I think not.

Angry

Pffftt.. I got a lousy couple of 'orange' keyrings and nothing more from Coopers in Thames Ditton, despite the sales team become quite well aquainted with my two young children! I feel like going back and demanding a fluffy rucksack for each of them!

Salesmen are so stingey....
I mean it must be good customer relations to deal with free goodies !

They've already shot the 'good customer relations' idea to pieces! Non-returned calls for the last 4 working days! Disgraceful.. Make that two more fluffy rucksacks for me and the mister! ;-)

I got a Bottle of Champagne and a Key ring when I collected my first MINI. As I am waiting for a call to tell me my replacement MINi is delivered. We'll see what I get this time. The manager is dealing personaly with my new delivery. After an incident with my last MINI.

Can't wait they said it would be delivered on the 6th, i'll be sat by the phone waiting, I've been without a MINi for 6 months now

I told the dealer that I didn't want the "normal" flowers that everyone gets. It's a nice touch but they only die!. My wife would have loved them, but I've traded them in for a Mini watch (the one that looks like the speedo)...She's probably gonna kill me now!.

Not sure about the petrol, but that's next on my list!

Just ordered my first MINI (first new car too - what a choice, eh?) - IB/W, bonnet stripes, chrome mirror caps, chilli pack, auto A/C, MFSW, heated jets & mirrors, TC, alarm, single CD (may have got a bit giddy with the options - not that the dealer was complaining ), all this comes with a 9-week wait

Anyways, how did you all get this stuff?! I mean what's the best approach, I'm not too good at playing it cool - everything's written all over my face!

So 'fess up people - what's your secret...

Good choice TaraBT, my first new car too and I went for IB/W.
When I ordered was a bit cheeky and asked what they would throw in as I was paying full whack. Answer was 'nothing' but persuaded them to throw in a rucksack and they gave me some champers. Was given 2 keyfobs and the paint and seat protection on the quiet too.
I think it pays to be a bit cheeky and just ask for a little something, start small !
