How Did You Pick Up Your Mini From Dealer

Hey,
Just wondering How Everyone Picked up Their MINI From The Dealer.

Was it still on the delivery truck, was it still in plastic.
did you drive it off the showroom, was your mini badge missing of your wheel , whats the point of the plastic anyway?Did they wash it after perp. did your interior still have the plastic, and did anyone keep the sticker on or keep it.

Driven out of the showroom all shiny and clean with 5 miles on the clock.

Did see it a few days before i collected it, it had plastic on the seats and white tape on various parts of the body work.

This was a special day indeed! After tracking the car through the manufacturing process, the shipping process and finally the pre-delivery process we were thrilled when the big day finally arrived.

When we walked into the dealership the car was sitting posed to go out the back roll-up door. We knew it was our car right away and a quick check of the VIN number confirmed it. I actually hugged the car and welcomed it to our family! After the paperwork was complete we took some photos of the sales rep handing us the keys, etc. Then my wife drove it out the door with cameras rolling. Sweet!

The dealer drove the car from the staging area over to the dealership and to the petrol stop for fuel thus the car was delivered with a total of 14 miles on it. What a day!

Driven up by salesguy from John Cooper garages when the bloke who drove the trailer phoned in sick.

105 miles when I got it. Like Soggy said - just helps the running in!

Got a "Cooper" duster When we picked up our X5 we got flowers and champagne!

All done over the phone - never met the salesguy until he dropped the car off or saw the garage. Would have like to - oh well there always next time!

I miss it all the time I'm not driving it!
