Offline | Just wanted to post my dissappointment with this dealer. I took delivery of my MCS about a month ago, I have no problems with the car, it is awesome. After waiting almost 4 months for delivery, the salesman tried to delay the delivery until after his vacation. He was ticked when I said that was not good enough and complained that he has to share his commision with someone else. This guy never answered his email and took his own merry time to respond to phone calls. They were really elusive and would never give me a straight answer as to when the car was to arrive (I was not given an order number or VIN number so I could not track it myself). I did not want my car in the showroom display but I suspect it was. On delivery, the financing paperwork was wrong, they had the wrong interest rate, address, telephone numbers, and she was pretty arrogant about it. I clearly ticked her off by making her change it all. As for getting my registration plates, it was the day before my temporary plates expired so I thought I had better find out where they were. "Oh they are right here, come and get them" he said. He couldn't even be bothered to call me to tell me the plates were in! I got them to overnight them to me, along with the window sticker that they didn''t give me. They have no clue as to what customer service is!! I have bought many new vehicles in my life, this dealer was the most flippant, arrogant and condescending of them all!!! My wife was shopping for a BMW 3 series, after this experience with John Roberts BMW/Mini, she ending up buying a Land Rover last week! So, if you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and shopping for a Mini, take my advice, go to Moritz Mini and stay away from John Roberts!!! |

| Gone Motoring! | Sounds like John Roberts to me... They used to own the BMW dealership in Austin and it was just as bad... I go to Garlyn Shelton in Temple for everything... Now the they changed owners and is much better... but still not as good as GS... We ordered the MINI from MINI Center in SA, I'll let u know how delivery goes... I've read good things about that dealership here, that was why we went there... (well, it's also the closest) --Andrew |
