Offline | but which service bay??! So SFBMW has become unbearable. Was in yesterday and noticed that Service MGR. #1 has been rehired, the one who told me I should have told him to make a note on my file about their washing my car. As if mentioning it every time we spoke wasn't notification enough. Mt problem is which Ca, dealer do I take it to now?! Northern CA. and not too many options. Heard good things about East Bay Mini, but what of Concord and Mountain View. Anyone got sage advice? I'm looking for some advice and HELP, Happy thanksgiving to all that celebrate it. |

Offline | I bought my Cooper D from Robert Stern (our neighbour recommended them) and I've been very happy with the service I have recieved. For me the trip to Worcester is hardly round the corner (somer 30+ miles) but well worth it. Originally I only went to be nosey and they were even great about me just wanting to browse - not the slightest bit pushy! I dealt with Andy (although he was actually on day off when I ordered) and I just couldn't beleive how many phonecalls I got from them updating me on what was happening - even just phoning me thanking/congratulating on the purchase. Maxine in finance was very helpful and although I didn't need finance she was very helpful and gave me plenty on everything finanical. I would definately go there again...Benhams in Wolverhampton is my local dealer but they turned me off when I went there to browse and got treated like dirt/thief - not the way to sell cars!! |

Offline | unfortunately there are lot of car dealerships like that. Either look at you like dirt OR talk complete b0ll0cks about their products, and know next to nothing about their competition. |

Offline | Specialist Cars Stevenage - great experience I took delivery of my chili red and black Mini Cooper S (R53) today, after an exciting 2 weeks since spotting it on the cherished mini website (this follows 8 months of trawling the net for my ideal MCS). The members of the sales team that I have interacted with (Ian, Nigel and Jason) have all been very helpful and informative at every step of the process. Nothing has been too much trouble for Ian, my main contact from the sales team, including assisting with all of the daft questions that I have posed, and responding to my cheeky request for any freebies by sending a bouquet of flowers to my home today via interflora ![]() As mentioned my experience with sales has been a positive one, so too has my interaction with Michael the delivery driver, who despite it being a Friday afternoon and finding himself140 miles from home, turned up at my home with a gleaming mini and took as long as I required to demonstrate all of the features of my new car. I hope to be with my mini for a very long time, and in the event that I decide to change it for another I will definitely check-in with Specialist Cars in Stevenage before trying an alternate dealer. Now let the fun of mini ownership begin ![]() I am now looking forward to the fun that being a mini owner brings. |

Offline | Evlet in Durham? or Williams in Bolton? Hell all, Im currently looking to get into a MINI. Ive called into Scotthall in Leeds and I just didn't like it. Also their stock is pretty poor and the BMW side is not great either (important as my Dad id buying a 520d SE Auto at the minute too). Individually and together we've been to most dealers within 100 miles, Bradford were OK, Blackburn were not too bad either, I guess. The most impressive for me being Evlet in Durham, how are these guys? If anyone has any feedback on the BMW side this too would be great. Williams BMW in Bolton were pretty keen on the BMW side, and the MINi were pretty cool too, but I've heard bad things about Williams in general, anyone know about Bolton? Cheers guys! Brian. |

Offline | From my very brief experience I would say do NOT ,unless you want totally incompetent and surly service use BMW Chandlers of Hove. I am not sure where the nearest other mini dealership in Brighton is but find it!!! I actually hate the mini now and I loved them beforeI went to Chandlers. |

Offline | MINI Luton I have had experience of several local dealers to me in Beds Bucks & Herts and they all vary from one to another,Elms in Bedford and Stanstead appear to have a half decent aftersales but imcompetent sales side of things.I found Stratstone tring to be very helpful all round but poorly prepared cars and over priced extras.I found stratstone in milton keynes 110% useless and run by a bunch of kids.I have had mixed experience of specialist cars stevenage and found the manager to be very rude but found specialist cars luton to be really relazed and friendly and they had a goo choice of cars and have a good aftersales. |

Offline | Oooh I wouldnt call it awful luck, I believe they have helped me out no end, and I seem to remember complaining about only one person in particular. There is a thread all about them under dealership feedback and i'd so read it properly before you make comments like that ![]() |

Offline | Well lets just say I know someone that had a problem with Luton that potentially could have been quite dangerous, and the sales staff are plain rude (except by all accounts the sales manager), so I wouldnt entertain them. |

Well i know two people that have bought cars from Stevenage, one of them had to wait 3 months longer than promised for the dooper and the other found the sales manager very rude,im sure all dealers have ups and downs but we all go by personal experience and my personal experience is that Luton is very good, and stevenage is not. ho hum. |

| MINI2 Regular | I placed an order with Sytner BMW Mini Leicester after lots of discussion and the service there is brilliant. Although not had to deal with parts or servicing yet but if it is anything like reception and sales I look forward to it! I would definately reccomend them to anyone in the area! Even got a discount on list .It's a Mini Adventure. |

Offline | My mini had its engine management light on so I took it to the Mini dealer in Hamilton, Scotland. They kept my mini for 6 weeks!! They didnt give me a courtesy car until i complained. (I was only 18 at the time though) So they hired a Chervolet for me. I had to pay for the fee of adding it as a temporary vehicle onto my insurance and am still waiting to be compensated on it - which they promised. This happened in March. So beware Mini owners from this dealer! |
