Offline | I'll just say ditto re: south bay MINI. My order is in and they've been very helpful and really great in assisting me and settling everything. They've been open less than a month and they have better service than SoCal dealers who have been around since the MINI debuted. |

Offline | This may be, and should be, repetitive but, here in New England there is really only one dealer to go to for sales and service and that's MINI of Peabody, MA. I did not buy mine there but, when I need to go, the 80 mile trip is not an issue. Not only are the techs terrific and the advisors knowledgeable but it is like being in a clubhouse, for example, if I'm there at coffee break time, I'm included in the gaggle of techs and sales staff around the truck that carries the food goodies and, more often than not, someone buys my coffee and.... This MINI is my 14th new car purchase. This place tops them all. Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear. |

Offline | That same men v. women attitude seems to prevail with most auto sales & service people, it seems, at least here in the USA. Haven't heard any feedback/commentary about my dealership and sales person, here or on any of the other MINI-dedicated forums. As to my dealer sales person (haven't had any service yet), I'll just say, once I ordered, it was all down hill from there.... (For some idea of it, see my MINI's "supposed to be there ...." options on my info....) Hope most peoples' experiences have been better. |

| CUMBRIAN COOPER | I recently had my boot hinges collapse and the boot open at an undisclosed speed on the M6. my car went to lloyd and i was left to take a 4mile bus trip to town, they fixed the fault and never bothered to re-fit trim etc back to the boot, my car then needed a service, £180 for an inspection 1 and told i cant have a courtesy car because im under 25, fair enough but i have had them before... they now say they dont have any in. I rang Crossflags, £150 for service, courtesy car provided, brought 33miles to my house and my car delivered back the next day. they also carried out my special request. swap numberplates for Crossflags ones and take lloyd mini stickers off the windows.. Lloyd may have a super dealership but Crossflags have won my custom, they do as much as possible to help... LLOYDS DO AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE FOR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE Cumbrian Cooper |

| MINI2 Regular | Until recently I would have agreed that Crossflags offers a very good service. However they had my car in to investigate a rattling dashboard - this was the third visit for the same problem and they kept the car for 10 days, despite several assurances that the car would be returned to me "the next day". After having the car back for a few days and reporting that the rattle was still there, I noticed not only was the passenger's side anthracite panel scratched but the one on the driver's side wasn't even attached - it is sitting free so you can move it about and see right inside the dash area! I took some photos and sent them to the dealer as he was insisting that the car was absolutely 100% perfect. Today the Dealer Principal was on the phone practically acusing me of having dismantled and scratched my own dash - *****!!!!! ![]() They have gone way down in my estimations, and I will never ever be back in their garage. ![]() 54 Cooper, BEP/Black, Chilli Pack, ASC+T, SS+, Alarm, CD Boost, 16" FIN Alloys, Anthracite Headlining, Xenons, Multi-function S/Wheel, Driving Lamps, sh*t build quality... ![]() Now SOLD!!! Goodbye MINIs and good riddance.... |

Offline | Hello all, I am new to this forum, and am looking for a Mini S covertible with automatic; I called all 7 dealers in the Los Angeles area, and I come to the conclusion that: The South Bay Mini is the one I will go to when they call me once they have the car. They are 1 of the only 2 dealers don't charge Mark-ups, and I never buy any car with mark-ups. The person who answered my inquiry over the phone was courteous and prompt (because some one else answered the phone first, took my name and number, told me some one will call me right away; and in 20 seconds, my phone rang.). Assel won't even talk to me when he heard I wanted a car which is not out yet. I went to Irvine Mini to check out the car, and found they have 90% of the Minis with $1995 mark-ups (contrary to what I read from this forum). Only 2 "special" with no extra $ added. I left right away and won't consider buying there, even it is only 4 miles from my house. Santa Ana seems to be good; the lady was polite and ensured she'll call me in 10 days when she has the S with auto in. If any one here has great experience with any one of the dealers other than South Bay, please share it with me. Thank you and I wish the MCSC show up soon so I can have fun just like all of you! |

Offline | From Stockton area, my first M0 was supplied from Preston Hall BMW and would never use this dealership again. The most aggressive, incompetent, thoughtless dealership ever, like northandy I wanted to reject my car after the prop shaft developed an oil leak after 500 miles. I was persuaded not to reject the car and would regret that decision with a string of faults occurring... with the car spending more time in the dealership than on the road. Next MO from Fawdington Newcastle as to date with few problems |

| Having a Mini Adventure!! | On the advice of a friend we visited Bluebell to look at what was on offer (after being put off by the attitude of the staff at Williams in Manchester), and today returned and ordered our Cooper from them, mainly due to the excellent, friendly, helpfull staff, for whom, nothing appeared too much trouble! Needless to say they have made a great sale to us, we've specced up the electric blue / black roof n door caps cooper with a sunroof, chilli pack, full leather interior, chrono pack, chrome line interior, harmon kardon, boot changer, folding heated mirrors, bonnet stripes and a few other bits n bobs too, probably made the sales guy's day, though I think it will have ruined the bank managers day!!! :-) |

| MINI2 Regular | North Oxford Mini Have just bought Oxford Mini's Demo Works Cooper S and all I can say is ACE!!! Heres some of the good bits Got a good price on my 02 Cooper S They shopped around to get a good finance package for me Cherished plate swapped with no hassle Works price was reduced to help me buy But best of all Sarah in sales was a pleasure to deal with. All the staff there were good but Sarah was excellent. From looking at the car to picking it up only took 9 days which I also thought was good. My wife wants a Cooper Convertible in 18mths and I know were we will be going. ![]() |

Offline | Massive thumbs up to Tony Baker and co at Morrison's in Cahir. Here's a dealer who understands what customer service is all about, and understands that car owners are often real car enthusiasts. Every step of the sales process with these guys was superb, and the one or two little jobs I had to get done since were done promptly and with absolutely no quibble. ![]() ![]() '02 '03 '05 '08.. soon! Offline | Northwest Mini, Tacoma, WA I have no complaints with NW Mini. They have been professional, informative, and great fun to work with. When I came in to purchase the vehicle, they asked if I'd driven an S. I told them that I drove a used 2002. Chris insisted (like that took alot ) that I take a 2005 MCS out and it was amazing. I ordered it on the spot.I would recommend them to anybody. robm 05 MCS | CR/W | Stripes | Sport | LSD | Aero | Miltek CatBack Exhaust |

Offline | Astle MINI Scunthorpe (UK) Great experience, all the staff very friendly and helpful. Only one month from order to delivery. (Took 6 months to get my previous Cooper, not from Astle) Two free bottles of wine and a tank of petrol. Car is superb, picked up yesterday and no problems so far. ![]() HBB MCS |

Offline | For the most part- Great service. Diana Whitlock was my MA and was very attentive, friendly and patient - as it took six months from original order to delivery Changed specs a couple of times The entire ordering process was smooth and the staff there seems to genuinely like working for Mini helping customers choose Minis. I give them a positive rating and especially recommend Diana to future interested Mini buyers. BTW - here's my Mini ![]() |

| GP0722 and Cooper S | Coopers of Cobham vs Vines of Guildford went to Vines of Guildford to get my Mini One serviced but also looking to purchase a Cooper S on the same day.... Vines treated me disgracefully - typical BMW snobbery with the addition of carrying out unathorized work on the car (for which I have now had a refund after threatening legal action) and treating me like 'the little woman who knows nothing about cars'. Went to Coopers of Cobham next day (Thursday) - wonderful...totally different experience. I came away with a beautiful MCS which they sorted out really quickly when I mentioned I was doing an 800 mile round trip on the Saturday. Gave me a decent trade in on my Mini One. Great aftersales service and advice giving on moding car/warranty). They do a collect/delivery for servicing (as well as providing courtesy car if I wanted). Oh, Barons in Farnborough.... every part I ordered from them for my One was incorrect so I decided not to go back there again:-) |
