| Trained Monkey | Thanks Ray. My nearest MINI dealership lost itself at least two sales early last year when they proved to be disinterested and quite rude to myself as in individual customer, and to my fiance when she called making enquries about a MINI for a company car. For us it was easy though, the next dealership is only a 15-20 minute drive away! Well done for apologising, I had a car I had to reject due to a hapless dealer and many faults a few years back (they damaged it while it was in their workshops!)... even they didn't have the courtesy to apoligise! There aint no party like my nana's tea party |

Offline | Re: MAXI apology from Ol Ray It would appear that you have been forgiven, and quite rightly so. I am truly amazed and heartened by your post. We all screw up under pressure and have to let off steam on occasion. May I respectfully suggest you add to your first post and let off steam here when you feel the need. Although you have redeemed yourself admirably above, I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking you could have more positive contributions to make to this the BEST new MINI site. Cheers from Oz ![]() |

Offline | I just know you didn't mean this the way it sounds. Since it was an inappropriate 'letting off of steam' that lead to Ol Ray getting on the bad side of me in the first place. I think Ray is smart enough not to let off steam in public forum such as this, thankfully. That, I agree with wholeheartedly. I think that dealers or dealer reps can add much to the enlightenment of MINI2 users by adding the dimension of inside information. This is an area that has been sorely lacking up until now, with the exceptions of Neo in the UK and TimR in the US. I think that more input from dealers, sales reps, dealer techs, and MINIUSA PR personnel would be most welcome. P.S. your're right, I believe it was King's Cross and not Charing Cross, although I stayed in Charing Cross in London in the early 70's also. You know Sydney--London, they both look alike after 6 beers anyway. Congrats on an Aussie scoring in the points in the OZ GP on Sunday. Mark Webber and the Minardi team! Jerry |
