Thumbs up Motor City MINI - Detroit MI

Hey there everyone -

I just wanted to take a second and add in some feedback about Motor City MINI. I came across this forum when searching for the Motor City Mini phone number online. I ended up getting quite distracted and registering myself.

I'm kind of dissapointed by the lack of and/or negative comments about the Motor City MINI dealership. I've had nothing but good dealings with them and anticipate no issues when I take my mini in for the first service/oil change next week.

Just some overall comments for anyone who might have Motor City Mini as their closest dealership...

I ordered my MINI at the beginning of last year (2002). They did not overwhelm me with sales pitches or follow us around the show room but they were there to answer any questions. Personally I liked the fact that we weren't bombarded by someone the second we walked in. I was able to look at as many MINIs on the lot as I wanted to until I could choose my interior and was personally introduced to one of their service guys. We were told my MINI would be in sometime in May.

A total of 12 MINIs arrived with mine on May 1st (better than sometime in May). When I went to pick up Mini they told me they called me first because I was the most excited (!!). It was waiting inside the showroom freshly washed and covered, they walked me through each and every single little detail of the car, were immediately able to give me the accessories I decided to buy and again took me over to see the service folks.

I'm calling tomorrow to set up my first oil change and service trip. I'll keep you posted on how everything goes.

If you're looking to buy/lease/whatever and Motor City MINI happens to be the closest dealership rest assured it should be a pain free process. I haven't had any issues to date and remain confident that there won't be any in the future.

I'm new here but hopefully I'll be seeing more of everyone!
