United-States Mini of Sterling

After reading the freebies thread and an old thread on Mini of Sterling I was hoping I could combine the two. Can anyone tell me about the experience they have had with Mini of Sterling and whether or not you got free stuff when you picked up your mini? I asked about free stuff when I purchased my mini and he said they didn't do that. I didn't know if he wanted to keep it a surprise or if he was telling the truth! Jim was real nice and if production is on time I will get my mini the week of my birthday!

Any other thoughts on Mini of Sterling--from the old posts it seems they have a good service department. Still true?

Thanks!

Ordered my mini on Saturday. IB/W Chrome mirrors & bumper inserts, Premium, Cold Weather, Anthracite interior, CVT, DSC.

I'm a newbie to the forum. Since you just ordered, is Sterling quoting MSRP or something different, and what sort of lead times on delivery? Thanx.

Sterling is asking MSRP, but they do make you purchase carpeted floor mats ($95) and there is a $200 processing fee. Other than that it's taxes. I dealt with Jim and he was nice.

They quoted me at 7-10 weeks for delivery, and it's looking like closer to 10 for me, but Spirit16 ordered a few days before me and I think he's closer to 7.

I debated going to Towson or Tate, but they were much further away, although I have heard good things about both. I figured since I was going to get my car serviced at Sterling I would buy it there. They offer loaner cars when your car gets serviced if you bought your mini from them.

Coming soon to a road near you!

We dealt with both Crystal and John, before Jim moved over from BMW...they were very accomodating...our first dealings with Crystal were before the site was built...

I think John has moved on now...

Moonpie did you get any extras from Sterling? Cleaning supplies or just good service.
