Offline | Couldn't agree more ! Rydale Cardiff are the worst dealership I've ever experienced - difficult, unhelpful and the receptionist I spoke to on my last visit a few weeks ago was just plain rude. I'm still waiting for the promised call back. Unfortunately, my car's due for a service very shortly - so where should I take it ? Suggestions on a postcard please .................. |

Offline | I have heard alot of negative feelings towards these garages. When looking for a car, we visited Cardiff, walked out 10 minutes later. Very poor customer service. I've used them for parts, no-problems. Go there for a service, I don't think so!! I've used MiniMania over in Cwmbran, can't praise them enough. |

Offline | I was going to suggest D Lovett's at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol. They may even drop you down to the shopping mall while you have your car serviced. Wellsway BMW in Bath seems another good one plus you could combine it with a trip out in beautiful Bath! |

Offline | Well yet another negative. last Fri evening the boot refused to open, phoned Rydale CDF who couldn't help then, but said bring it in in the morning. Sat morning went in...."we're fully booked" no help offered. Phoned Rydale BMW Service Mgr. and complained about service and attitude of Mini service desk. Then on Sun went to the Audi garage to look at an A3 3.2 Q, while I was there another couple were enquiring to trade in their MCS for an A3. Quote " Mini is a lovely car, but the service at Rydale is not good enough to warrant another one". Mon. Rydale take my MCS from work, no fault found and return it. I now have a string driven boot release as backup. Audi looks good to me as well. |

Offline | The BOOT Saga pt 2 Well over Xmas Rydale Cardiff had the car for two weeks, Piched it up still faulty. Boot handle on order, colour coded, so have to wait. Car in today to be sorted while I wait. "Job's done... just washing the car" Received car back new handle has 3mm gap and wires inside visable. Paint job on handle incomplete. Asked 1 why fit a defective part and 2 why do it so badly. Yet another new boot handle on order. Pathetic. |

Offline | What Answers? ...................... ...................... ...................... We'll order another boot handle. We'll pick up your car from home, and give you a loaner...... And have another go. ps I've since found that there's supposed to be a rubber sealing strip between the handle and the boot lid, I've prompted them to order that as well! |

Offline | I have another update too - the door lock they fixed about 5 months ago is again faulty! It seems they did enough to last until the car was out of warranty. If they hope to charge me now - they're wrong. Close, there's a little place called MINIMANIA!!!!!!! Also, the ECU they replaced had to be replaced again, along with the steering column and steering pump. They're incompetent beyond belief!!! And now, not thanks to them, my ECU settings are correct, including variable speed wipers - something I was told a few times 'is only a BMW feature'. |

Offline | i agree rydale arn't the best ,i dealt with the newport dealership and they messed my order up i clearly stated white s spokes but they never added them on,so when i went to pick it up i didn't take it and they kept the car for 3 weeks and took them off another car that came in with it,they even tried to say it looked alot better without the white wheels just to save the work, but i disagreed because i was going for the black white chequrerd scheme and also if i want parts ipod clear lights etc they take ages and when it does arrive they only got part of it,so i took my car to minimaniauk and let them fit all the parts and you cannot fault them they're great, although rydale did an excellent clean of my car when itook it down to have ipod fitted but they never had part |

Offline | To balance things a little - I had a trade-in of MCS and new car purchase - no complaints from me - everything ready, spec updates processed easily, very quick transaction all round. ![]() |

Offline | Dealers in Wales I have just bought my first MINI and have experienced everything that has been said about the dealers here in wales! Groundhog day........... Cardiff were friendly at first but the service wasnt the best and they never followed up my enquiry. Swansea... wouldn't touch with a very large pole used for boating activities on canels..... lots of people with MINI's and for that matter BMW's I know have had VERY bad service. I was ignored for 20 minutes when I went in to buy a 3 series estate, I ended up with an Audi A4! Haverfordwest, well, what can I say, a revelation! they got my hard earned and I couldnt fault them in any way. I bought a new car from them and they did everything that the others didn't. Its well worth the extra miles to go to them just to have the excellent service. |
