In today's Boston Globe, a reporter's wife picked her "Final Five under $30,000" cars. About the MINI Cooper she said, "Cute, cute, cute. I might even be driving one already except no one would wait on us when we went into a local dealership."

Guess which dealership in Boston did Stephanie go to?

"Thanks for your note. The place that she stopped at about 6 months ago was on Rte. 1. She walked around, and no one so much as said hello. Trouble is, I'd like her to walk into a Subaru store, but that's another story.....

Well, if nobody approached her while she looked outside on the lot, then I personally count that as a plus. I don't like to be ambushed by a salesman as sson as I start looking around.

If she went inside and was ignored, then that's not a good thing.
