Maybe this is Lind's problem?

If it is nice of Lind to let him know!!!!

Ok now a little bit of success - Lind have now given me a date.............. August. Yes thats August fortunately its August 2004. Oh well 8 months after i ordered it.

Its going to be the new spec so its a bit more expensive than i thought but at least i now know when to expect it. Unfortunately its coming after Southern Mini Days so i wont be able to display it at the show. So now the saving and trying to sell the current car starts in earnest!!!!!!!!!!

MINI not coming now so i'm going racing instead

It a wonder LIND are still in business as they have got to be the worst MINI dealership in the country by a mile.

dinger,

The cars sell themselves so they probably don't give 2 hoots.

United-Kingdom Whitehouse Ruxley Mini Dealership in Sidcup

Don't waste your time there.Although the staff showed me how to fix the car seat etc ,they did not seem too interested in selling me a brand new car. They even did not let me test drive the car as they wanted to see the part 2 of the driving licence(i have got the new one with photocard on).I registered my interest to test drive the MINI Cooper online at www.mini.co.uk last week and they even failed to make contacts with me before I reached the dealership. Most unprofessional and inefficient!

When the Cooper S was first launched we went to Linds in Maidstone to see it and was so impressed with the car I tried to book a test drive.....but to my horror the arrogant BMW saleman would only allow us to book a test drive if we placed a deposit of £500 on a car and he then advised us our deposit would be refundable if we did'nt like the car...........

Yup, good guy sorted my mini out for me too. Really good customer service at Sevenoaks.

My dad bought a VW at Lind, i think the bad customer service must run in all the dealerships at that site, he has had no end of problems with his car and they are the most unhelpful bunch of people i've ever come across.

Thats terrible!! At Canterbury I was allowed to test drive two different Minis unsupervised, by only producing my driving license - which currently has an old address on it!! They didn't ask for any other form of ID or deposit.

guys + Gals,

I got a reply to my complaint to BMW GB about Lind and they apoligised and mention that training will be given. Prob a standard letter. However this will be the test. The mini has developed a fault with the passenger door not unlocking. So watch this space. Waiting to book it in in the nextweek or so. Lets see if it has improved. If not I'm going to write to BMW GB again and open up a whole can of WHOOP ASS!!!!!

Well I got the car back from Lind BMW and the service was better!!! Maybe BMW GB did do somthing about it?

Not only was all the work done the car was cleaned inside and out with a little message inside saying cleaned etc by Mini. Never used to have that before. Well saying that the Mini didnt but my BMW did.

Lets hope it stays that way.
