Offline | Thanks to Jason for the great pics! They make those of us who haven't ordered yet smile and cry all at the same time. Looks like it was quite the party. Now I'm really sorry I couldn't make it. How many MINI2ers attended? Any new information worth posting (allocations, etc.)? 88 XJS 94 Honda VFR 98 Dodge Caravan and 2-8/9 Kids |

Offline | Jason, great job on the photos. Thanks for posting so quickly. The event was very cool, glad I got to meet Dash, Sdmidget and yourself. Has your production date moved to 6/28, as well? BTW your Corrado sounded very cool pulling out. Got turbo? Waiting, officially, since July 12, 2001. C'mon July 2002! Indi Blue Cooper S, White roof, Bonnet stripes, Lapis blue leather, Premium, Sport, and Winter packages. Is December here yet? |

Offline | Way to go Jason. By the time I got home your pics were already up. I'm impressed. It was nice meeting you guys and seeing a preview of my Cooper with sdmidget's car (love the seats - good call). I'm more eager then ever to see her come off the line. Do you think there's a way to get Owner's Lounge TV? MINI production status - 24 hours a day, every day! Way to go Don Rosen (the dealership AND the hair!). |

| MINI2 Newbie | The Don Rosen Party was a blast. especially seeing mark dressed up as Austin Powers. As for my Cooper S. I found out that my start date was may 22nd, and I recieved my production number from Alex to follow the birth of my baby in the owners lounge which is pretty cool. although i have no clue how long it takes from production to delivery i'm still sitting on my hands waiting. oh my S is Dark Silver/ Black Roof and mirrors. I got the Sport package and the Premium package. i cant wait Eric |

| MINI2 Regular | Question for you guys Do any of you know about how long it takes for production to be scheduled after the car is first put to "on order" status? I put my order in on friday and know I wait and keep checking the owners lounge like the rest of you guys! Tony Right then. Good Show. Carry On. 2002 Liquid Yellow MINI Cooper S with black roof |

Offline | Tony For me it took about a month to move officially from "on order" to "scheduled for production" (which happens 2 weeks before the estimated production date is seems), but an estimated production date showed up almost immediately in the order details section. Good luck with the waiting - it only gets worse when it gets scheduled, because then the anticipation will kill you (like it is for me this week!). Someone at the party (Jason?) mentioned a phone number which has been giving silly precise details about production standing. Does anyone have this number that I can call this week to check on my baby? Andrew |

| heterochromic & loving it | You can call MINIUSA at 866-275-6464 for up to date info. I just got my production number last Wednesday, currently in "on order" status with a production date of 6/21, which means (according to the way it has worked for most) I should get a VIN and be converted to "scheduled for production" at then end of this week. Fingers crossed... -Ricardo |

Offline | Looks like a great grand opening. Hello all, Sorry I missed the Grand opening party last week. Ended up getting extra cash to be bumped on my flight back from Florida, although in retrospect from the looks of the party, I made the wrong decision. Nice photos. Quick question. Has anyone purchased a cooper with the beige seats, and if so, how are they holding up. My parents have fallen in love with my cooper and are thinking about putting down a deposit to order one from Rosen. If so, they would buy a maroon exterior with beige interior, as long as the beige doesn't seem to wear prematurely or scuff easily. So far, my car has been holding together really well, which is saying a lot considering the constant abuse. I don't take corners at less than 40 mph anymore . I rode the "Incredible Hulk" coaster at universal studios, but it wasn't nearly as fun as a cooper on a winding road. I'm begging to get the cooper to the Going to the sun road at glacier national park.Congrats to all that are receiving their S's soon. Let us know what you think of them. |

Offline | Has anybody gotten/seen/ordered the aerokit? I believe Alex said they (DR) had installed it on 5 Coopers and were working on a S. From pictures, I love the looks of it but I'm afraid the paint would get scratched/scraped too easily. Anyone with experience or knowledge about this? How much lower to the ground does it make the car? Does your car scrape the ground easily and often? Opinions solicited ![]() |

Offline | Has anyone who recieved a recently allotted "July Production" actually been given a date in the Owner's Lounge? My status is "On Order" but there's no actual production date to be seen (even under Order Details). Offline | Thanks Tony, The black Cooper on carcrazy looks great. I'm trying to learn about the aerokit. It looks lower to me but you would know. I'm trying to get my order together. The big hold up is color color color! The latest choice is between red/black top or yellow/white top. Maybe I should have Marge at DR choose. Have you seen these combinations? Vote! Thanks again--pass on any more info.or advice concerning the aerokit. I guess we're talking lots of $$$$. Maybe common sense should prevail. ![]() |
