Offline | How much deposit did your dealer want? I've not long placed my order for my MCS and was initially surprised when the dealer asked for a 10% deposit (around AU$4000). In the end I secured my order with a little under 5%, or AU$2000. In a country where $500 is usually enough to secure the deal I was just wondering what experiences other people have had in regard to placing a deposit on a new MINI. ![]() |

Offline | I had to put down $1000 at the time of ordering and then another $1000 when the car went into production (about 9 mths later). This was from the Adelaide MINI garage. Dutchy. Sadly INIMINI is gone, but never forgotten. |

Offline | I was also going to add, but didn't, my girlfriend and I decided to wait for 12 months to get our finances in order. At least we got onto the list early ,although still a 9 months wait min anyway. We got the car in June last year and have enjoyed every second since. Dutchy. Sadly INIMINI is gone, but never forgotten. |
