Damon Hill MINI?

Hi,

I've just had a call from Damon Hill Mini. Has anyone else had any calls from them?

Thanks

Tim

Why the concern? Why ask? Damon has a dealership in Leamington Spa and that is where my Mum got her cooper from.

I had a call from today and they would like to buy my MC. They only want to pay by company cheque and wondered if anyone else had tried this!

Shouldn't be a problem - most dealers use company cheques. Just write on the invoice something like: "The MINI remains the property of Mr Xnetco until funds have cleared." Then you can legally snatch it back if they go belly up.

It is without doubt a good dealership (with a cool BMW showroom with DH's trophies etc.) but I got over £1400 MORE than what they offered as a trade-in by selling my MINI ONE CVT to another dealership (Lancaster).
