Question Anyone service their MINI at BMW Sydney?

Can someone recommend a service advisor that works there!?

i wanna do a software update to V36 plus a whole list of stuff for them to look at

as cute as that service department reception girl is, i want to speak to someone who knows what V36 means and wont just give me a blank look

I faintly recall Brad is chummy with one of them!? Brad?

I was there a couple months ago. You mean the one at Rushcutters right?? Yeah the reception girl really looks good in any of their cars...

The service was very well and I had the V36 installed. However they were a little reluctant unless you have complaints about your current version. I dont know anyone there but the service was very very good. V36 did not make any difference at all to my car and I was disappointed at even making the effort to try and get it. When I talked to the service department, they told me it had performance enhancing features and blah blah blah....

One thing I spewed about was that they took my car and drove it 15 KMS!!!!!!!!!!! They claimed they were testing it but 15 KMS?????

Otherwise, the service was good.

Ring 'Anthony Alafaci' at MINI Garage Sydney, T: 93344888. Tell him Brad from MINI Clubs said you should talk to him and he will look after the update. and their new receptionist ... worth driving down to have a coffee at the recetion counter where I spend a lot of time lately

Surprise, surprise just had my car there getting V36 put in the car before warranty expires. Does the gearbox a world of good, however did have throttle module? changed due to failure. Had to convince a mechanic that it needed looking at, but they don't really give a , they'll do what you tell them.

BTW Ross, see U going past my house sometimes, think I was at CB 96' with you, or am I wrong?

From what ive read from these boards, v36 isnt supposed to address the yo-yo - it does however fix the stumble and hesitation (supposedly).

Some say it makes the yo-yo worse, other say its the same.

No problem .. have a chat to Alan Irwin while you are there .. Alan looks after BMW/MINI accessories and always finds time to chat over a coffee with our MINI owners. As for reception ... they make great coffee.

That's why I stay away from AMG ... they don't serve coffee (yet .. cafe opening next door) and it helps my bank account to stay clear of the place.

Trelo needs those wheels back?

Tis a shame - those gold wheels look a million bucks with the BRG Brad

Its not what they put in the cookies ... its who serves the coffee/cookies, answers the phone and generally does an excellent job for MINI Garage Sydney.
