I've had a very good buying experience at Crown MINI of Richmond VA. My MA, Kelly Atkinson, worked hard to find a car very close to my specs (basically a stripper S) and was very helpful throughout the entire buying process. Barry Bowman, the MINI sales manager, worked with me on pricing too.

As I'm basically cheap (!) I had a really hard time paying MSRP for the MINI. But Barry and Kelly finally hashed out a deal we could all live with.

They didn't even get fed up with my calling every day to see if my car had been released from the distribution center.

Overall a great buying experience and I'd recommend them highly.

Oh, and the very next week they got a car in trade (97 Jetta VR6) that my oldest son wanted and again gave me a great price on that. So I've bought two cars from them in two weeks.

Well, the 2003 MINI Coop S we took delivery on in October 2002 was having problems. 45 days in the shop in under 17 months. That's well over the Lemon Law limit of 30 days in 18 months in Virginia. We went to talk to Barry at Crown and he wanted to help us out. It took a little while, but we were able to work out a great assisted trade-in deal for a new 2004 S. Barry was wonderful and now we have our new MINI and are more than pleased. He transformed an angry customer into a happy customer. Thanks Barry. I cannot recommend Crown MINI highly enough.

I've bought 2 MINIs from Barry and generally speaking, Crown has treated me very well too.

my wife and I were looking at a Cooper in Virginia Beach (we live in Williamsburg). We decided to look around a little more and were going to check out Crown. Good to hear you had a positive experience. Did they insist on you paying MSRP?

we are heading up to Crown this week to check out their stock of Coopers. Do they usually have a good stock of cars on hand?
