Morristown MINI

Does anybody have any experience with Morristown MINI in northern NJ? I got on their list back in January, and they just called me back to say they're open and have MINI's. I want an S and am looking good to have one by late summer at Don Rosen, but I'm calling them back to see what the deal is up there. Is anybody else dealing with them?

Morristown MINI

I have been on their list since Feb. and have not heard back from them since. I have stopped by there twice and test drove a MCS. The person who was originally in charge (contact from miniusa.com) is no longer there. both times I was there I was unable to get any information regarding the "list", they couldn't (or wouldn't) tell me where I was on the list or how many people they had on the list.

I can't say that I have any real negative feed back (they could honestly just be very busy) but I definitely did not get a good feeling that they were following their list. I am also on the list at Weschester, NY, Princeton, NJ, and Ramsey, NJ (not yet open) and have had better discussions with them.

Morristown is telling people it will be a year to get an S (if you are not on their list) all of the other dealerships that I have talked to are saying Oct/Nov. Truth is, I don't think any of them know until they start coming in, and going out.

Good luck!

Well I spoke to a guy in MINI sales named John. He said that he could get me in a S by "the end of the summer". I am on their list, but was 260 as of January. They are selling at MSRP, but I don't know about the list since he said come in and spec a car. If I was closer, I'd stop by and check it out. Maybe a road trip some weekend soon is in order.
