Offline | Victoria MK So come on, who uses Victoria Milton Keynes - and more to the point, who is still happy with them? When I ordered my ONE there I couldn't have been treated any better - they were excellent. Throughout the 12 week wait, again, no problems whatsoever. Come the day of car collection, they forgot (yes, that's right, FORGOT) to tax the car!! I collected on a Saturday (supposedly) and their on-line registration system meant they would struggle to issue a valid tax disk whilst I waited. All sorts of excuses came out - the man with the safe key was away for the weekend, this has never happened before, all the usual cr*p. I wouldn't have minded except they had dictated the collection date to me and they'd had all of the insurance papers etc, to allow taxing etc, for a full 8 days prior to that! Cutting a very long story short, I had to return home without my car (after 4 hours of waiting!) - even though they had shown me around the car, let me & the wife sit inside, introduced me to all of the switches etc, before they realised they had no tax disk. I was livid. Collected the ONE the following Monday, very p*ssed off with Victoria, and no amount of bouquet of flowers, full tank of fuel etc would help. Eventually received a credit note from their Dealer Principal....whoopee! He seems to talk a good talk but struggles to actually deliver. My second escapade with them was for them to adjust the boot catch (boot not closing properly). They needed to order a new boot catch - on my return visit they quickly did the job, whilst succeeding in mis-aligning the boot lid by 5-6mm and scuffing and scratching the plastic trim inside the boot (looked like a blindman with a screwdrived had carried out the repair). Couldn't understand which 'technician' (read: mechinic!) had carried out the work, presumably to his satisfaction! Does QA not exist at Victoria? Result: Another dispute with them, yet another visit so that they could repair their damage etc... At present the ONE is superb - looks great, drives great, all repairs now done etc, etc. Will I return to Victoria?...not a chance!! Whilst their initial sales contact was to be unfaulted, my experience of their after sales efforts is appalling! I'll try Woollaston next time, see what they're like. My advise....give Victoria a very wide berth! |

| Trained Monkey | I've had not much but trouble from them, only perfect transaction I can recall was ordering a can of spray paint. I've said a lot about Victoria, they ended up buying back my old Cooper after an extremely frustrating series of events. They screwed up a simple job on Abi's car too. We've got Bedford and Northampton near by, both, in my view, FAR superior dealerships. Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | Yeah, I'll be more than happy to give either of them a try in future....it's just frustrating isn't it, when you're so happy with a car to find that it's so painful to get even the simplest job carried out? |

Offline | Have to agree, though based only on limited experience. We’ve already got an MCS on order with Elms (Bedford), having “compared” them to Specialist (Stevenage). Called in at Victoria MK just for a look around this Sunday and were basically ignored. Whilst I don’t like “in your face” salesmen, a simple “hello” would have created a much nicer atmosphere. Offline | Started off at Victoria when I was thinking about buying my MC, wanted to ask some preliminary questions about finance etc but the salesman really didn't want to know. Went to Wollaston Motors in Northampton and they were great, friendly and enthusiastic - ordered my mini with them. I won't be going back to Victoria even though they're just up the road. |
