Offline | rumor: 3 Texas dealers coming? I heard from a salesperson at Ralph Schomp MINI (Denver) that three dealers in Texas will eventually start offering MINIs, but I didn't see any dealers in Texas on the miniusa.com list. Can anyone confirm this rumor, and provide more info, such as a) which dealers and b) when? |

Offline | Re: rumor: 3 Texas dealers coming? I can't confirm it, but it sure would be nice if it is true. At one point last year, (before everything got screwed up), MINIUSA was planning on as many as 5 or 6 dealers in this state, so 3 would be on the low side. Just curious how Ralph Schomp MINI happened to mention this. Did it have anything to do with their decision not to sell MINIs to out-of-state buyers? In other words, did they mention the rumor of possible dealers in Texas to help steer you out of their showroom and down the road to some other future dealers? + 2002 MINI Cooper S - Dark Silver / White roof, Sport, Premium, Lapis blue leather + 1965 Mini Traveller - Tartan Red / White roof, 1275, Cooper S discs, fully restored/renewed |

Offline | New dealer updates MINIUSA is by no means your best source for breaking news. Brain Harris in Baton Rouge has been confirmed as Louisiana's dealer for over a week and no mention of it on the official site. I plan on seeing "fear not great Texans" for a while to come. Stick with MINI2, as these guys dig up info you can't find elsewhere, plus it is entertaining and pretty reliable. ![]() |

Offline | Yes, they mentioned it because they said they only serve five states, and CA was not among them. They said I might try Texas when the three new dealerships opened. Well, we can only hope. |
