I'm new to these forums, but have been reading for a while. Hope I'm not breaking any rules with this post - please put me striaght if I am.

Here goes...

First of all "Hi" to everyone. Great site and forums (wonderfull pics, too)!

Secondly, I have a question about dealerships. Specifically, Copper Sevenoaks (formerly, L & C). Are these guys good? From what I've seen here, they are, but I'd like some reassurance. I live in Bromley/Oprington area.

Would you recommend Cooper Sevenoaks? Anyone had a bad experience with them?

I'm off for an MCS test drive with Mark, from CS, this afternoon - I can't wait!

Am I right in thinking there's NO chance of getting a decent discount?

I'm pretty sure of the spec I want, just not the colour(s) yet. Is it OK to ask questions about my spec in MCS forum?

YAY, someone else from my area! I bought my baby from Sevenoaks and have not got a bad word to say about them. I tend to go down there a lot, always helpful, plenty of coffee and biscuits to hand

The amount of times i've been there and spec'd a new car over the passed year since getting mine, but Mark still always welcomes me with a friendly smile and is willing to help me spec over and over!

A discount?!?!?! Nope, tried that one but when you get your car you might get a few freebies. (If you do manage to get a discount - let me know )

Ask away in the MCS forum but I would always check first and see if they have been asked already or if they are in the FAQ section.

Your right! What a nice guy. Friendly, relaxed, helpful. AND for the first time (in my experience) I was dealing with someone who wasn't pushing for an order there and then!

He even took me up to their training room to play with their new in-house configurator (it's not being installed downstairs until Monday). Need to pull him up on the coffee & bikkies as we didn't get any - too busy playing with toys :-)

Yea, discount. Right! Ha! I *always* get something off. Not on a MINI, though. Not a snowball's chance in hell!

Anyway, I loved the car - *must* have one. Only two things to sort: Int/Ext colour schemes, and the PX value on my Lexus LS400. Talk about a contrast in car types - even Mark seemed suprised: "So, that's your big Lexus in the car park? What made you go for a MINI?" - easy answer, LOTS MORE FUN!

I understand your excitement! I got mine nearly two years ago from Cooper sevenoaks and had brilliant service. One little tip is that for the only time in my life, I put a dent in the mini, after much sobbing on the pavement outside my house, I rang Cooper sevenoaks and they put me on to a dent man.......basically I took it to Cooper sevenoaks and he repaired the dent, even sprayed the bit and had the mini washed and polished and valeted all for a very small sum of money, I was over the moon and he even came to my work place and dropped off the keys!
I keep saying that I must go in and get myself a nice mini polo shirt..!

have fun with you mini, I certainly do...look out for Bad with a No.3 on the side driving round sevenoaks...
