I would like to purchase a new Mini Cooper S or Mini Cooper S Convertible. I do not know the first thing about how to purchase one.

I live in OKLAHOMA, the land of nowhere -in-particular, there are not ANY dealerships that carry these automobiles and i believe the closest is Colorado or Kansas.

I just read the horror strory of the person who was trying to purchase one from a dealership in Scottsdale, AZ . My understanding is she does not live there, now i am scared crapless!! Then to hear there is a waiting period is also a disappointment. But i STILL want one.

So could someone PLEASE give me some AWESOME pointers concerning:

1. A REALLY TRUSTWORTHY DEALERSHIP AND A CONTACT NAME AND EMAIL.
2. WHAT THINGS I COULD RUN INTO IE.DELAYS ETC. .
3. WHAT ARE THINGS I SHOULD LOOK AT ADDING TO THE CAR
And any other thing i may have overlooked.
