I left Mini of Peabody so excited on Friday I forgot about my t-shirt. I emailed Ron today to find out they only had shirts up to #300. He is not sure if they are getting more. Who is lucky #300!

Is it typical that the title arrives separate from the car to the dealership? My car is at the dealership (since friday), but I can't take delivery until the title arrives(mailed separately). Mass doesn't issue temp plates. Very frustrating seeing that my car was stolen from Comm Ave a week ago and I've been riding my bike from Watertown to Lex every other day to get to work.

Why can't BMW just fax a copy of the title to get the ball rolling?

I had to wait several days. The car was accepted on Saturday and the title came on Tuesday. That's just the way it is...relax the wait will soon be forgotten.

Sorry to hear about your car being stolen. I hope it was not worth much.

I think you're talking about the certificate of origin. They are correct, you can't have your car without it. It will typically arrive by mail to the dealer about 3 days after the car arrives. The dealer needs it, the insurance agent needs it, the lender needs it. Keep checking and hounding them. This is the ONLY area that MINI Peabody dropped the ball on me, but my incessant checking and calling got it going again and Martin H. made everything OK

Hey, at least you're getting some great excercise

Thanks, good to know. Hopefully all will be settled tomorrow. Did they throw in any little extras for you guys beside that shirt I'm hearing about?
By the way, I know its a pretty typical combo (couldn't resist though), but I went with a dark silver cooper s with black top and bonnet stripes, sun roof and leather. Can't wait to see you guys on the road!

I went up to Peabody the other day to check out the Mini's with my parents and and I was surprised at how friendly everyone was and how a salesperson didn't approach us instantly. I'm used to bad experiences when I go to look at possible cars for myself, perhaps it's becuase most of the places I go to are Herb Chambers. Great place, If I order a Mini any time soon, it's going to be through Mini of Peabody.

2800 Miles. I had to leave the country last week so she just sat. I would say my car wants me to drive fast. Something I need to learn to control. I have had other cars with more power but nothing that is as nice a total machine. I was asked about what I didn't like and all I could think of after a long pause was brake dust.

I think MINI of Peabody took about 15 Coopers from MINI of the Hamptons because they couldn't sell them. Seems like the S and the CVT MINI are more popular in NY. Why not have Peabody get it for you from The Hamptons? Price would probably be the same and they will do all the leg work.
