Offline | Dealer recommendations Can anyone recommend a dealer that will want my order for a brand new Mini One in exchange for a small discount. I've only managed to get the TLC pack thrown in so far and am hoping for a bit more to be honest. Someone out there must have got a deal and there must be dealers out there more willing to get them self a sale. Any recommendations appreciated. abydx P.S. I have managed to get around £200 knocked off on drivethedeal.co.uk so I might use them. ![]() |

Offline | From memory there's about £800 profit in a Mini One, so a dealer willing to give much more than £100 off is pretty crazy in my book!! Remember the sales person will be taking 10% commission and will want to hold on to every penny as well!! I would take drive the deals offer if I were you!! |

Offline | Ordered my Mini One today. Saved a total of £300 using www.drivethedeal.co.uk. The car is coming from a Mini dealer in Scotland (I'm in Essex?!?) and having shopped around for a couple of weeks I am extremely happy with the deal that I've got. I found most Mini dealers reluctant to offer discounts and some extremely arrogant and unhelpful. Some offered to throw in the TLC pack and one offered to match the price from drivethedeal. In the end I decided companies like drivethedeal deserved my support. One Mini dealer revealed that drivethedeal get a corporate discount because of the number of cars that they purchase. Therefore by placing my order with drivethedeal I am increasing the number of cars it buys and hopefully the amount of discount it gets. I guess they can pass the discount on to the consumer because they don''t have flashy showrooms etc to maintain. Anyway, my car is going to be delivered in December and as soon as it arrives I will post some pictures. Thank you all for your help! abydx P.S if you know someone who is about to order a brand new Mini you might want to tell them to try drivethedeal before they place the order. You might not get a bunch of flowers when your car arrives but at least you'll be able to go on holiday with the saving! ![]() |
