Offline | Which Dealer - Columbus or Cincinnati? OK all you southwest Ohio folks, time to share your experiences. Which dealer is best, Columbus or Cincinnati? I'm pretty much equal distance from both, so I'm looking for the dealer with better service and less BS. Thanks! |

Offline | Col or Cinci? I purchased a 05 MCS from MAG in Col, everything to date has been fine! My sales lady, was knowledgeable, returned my phone calls, did everything I expected her to. I own a BMW from the other Col dealer, likewise they have good been fine. I live outside Col, normally deal with much smaller dealers, there is a difference, putting that aside my buying experience was pleasant, professional, painless, will report back after my first service. After reading all the postings about waiting months for delivery, I called, they had incoming what I wanted (someone canceled their order), it arrived, I bought it. I had done my homework, a close friend has a 03 MCS, I told him on the way to the dealership that I plan to buy this car if I get good vibs from the sales person and dealership in general, otherwise I would have walked. |

Offline | Columbus for Us We just (sept 29th) ordered from Erik Maxwell at MAG in Columbus. This was after dealing with Classic in Mentor, MotorCity in Detroit and Speaking with Dreyer Reinbold in Indy. For us it boiled down to the trade in value. Classic kind of jerked us around by lowballing our trade and then after we agreed on the deal with Midwestern MINI they came back with a "well we were gonna offer you $XXXXXX if we had known you were ready". Like we'd drive 3 hours cause we had nothing else to do! I agree with Silver Bullit. Erik was professional, polite, knowledgeable and the experience was smooth. They get my vote! |

Offline | Hello, I live in eastern Kentucky close to West Virginia. Im planning on ordering a new MINI. I liked the saleman in Columbus but i like MINI's so much to spend all of my 'cash at hand' for a brand new one. I'm not sure who I will buy from, when i do, I'll speak outward of why I may prefere one over the other. I'll be around in www.mini2.com. to report on my personal experiences with maintainance, warranty, over all satifaction, personal quize's, check up's and facts I get from each of the dealers over my warranty, purchase and relations with each. See ya folks later. |

Offline | I live in Cincinnati and tried with Cincinnati mini. Didn't have a good experience with one of the salesperson and ended up going with MAG in Columbus. I had been promised a November build date by Cincy Mini and was then (3 days later) called and told it would take 2 weeks to get a build date, then another call (2 days after the last one) that said they couldn't get one until Jan 2005. I immediately called MAG and was courteously helped, got a Nov. build-date and have been in contact since (ordered Oct. 10) with them. I did receive a call from Cincy Mini's sales manager regarding why I cancelled my order. He was very apologetic and has assured me their service center is great. I know others who have bought from Cincy Mini without any problems, so I think I may have just had a bad sales person. |

Offline | I moved from Ohio from South Carolina and my service at MAG has been VERY good. They have had a loaner car every time I needed one and I was able to get an appointment at a reasonable time. While I waited on my car, I talked to some of the folks in the sales department and they seemed very nice. |

Offline | Motor City Mini is the best dealer I've dealt with so far. I bought a stripped-down Cooper last year for racing and talked to all the dealers in MI, OH, IN & IL. Although I bought the car from Dreyer & Reinbold in Indy, it was only because they had the un-optioned car I wanted. After driving down, they delivered the car and sent me off with an empty tank. They promised to refund the difference between what they estimated for MI plates and the actual cost (after 2 phone calls never saw the money). Took my car to Motor City for the checkered roof, stripes & just recently the iPod hookup and was always treated with respect & quick service. Now in the market for a stripped S, since SCCA in their infinate wisdom classified it in the same class as my Cooper. Talked to all the dealers around & with service & response time am back at Motor City negotiating a deal. Talk to Kelly Krok & tell her Frank sent you. |

Offline | Great call Frank! I have been saying in numerous posts that Motor City MINI is tops!!! No B.S. and straight to helping you out, both in sales and service. They are connected to Bavarian BMW and because I bought from them before and received superior treatment, I knew exactly what to expect from Motor City. If you are within 150 miles of Detroit, and don't consider Motor City MINI, you are definitely missing out. ***BMW-AG Rocks!!!*** Portsmouth FC Can Thank Sunderland...What a Farce!!! |

Offline | MAG in Dublin (near Columbus) has great salespeople. No problems there. However, they have been through 4 or 5 service managers since I bought my MCS in August 2003, and my service experiences have not been good there. I had a couple problems last winter and had to take the car in more than once for a resolution on each, unnecessarily in my opinion, because the service manager would not believe what I was saying. I was also refused a loaner car on the basis that MAG had an issue with State Farm, my auto insurance carrier. I have not met the current service manager. Let's hope things have improved. |
