Popped into the new showroom in Boucher Crescent today. Much better than the little corner they had in Bavarian. Very funky and much more in keeping with the mini's character.

Was pricing up some bits and found out that they're having a Works day next month when they get their new demo in. Can't wait for a drive. I see great expense in my future.
Also had a chat with Conor and Colin who do a bit of lurking on here from time to time.
Very nice blokes they are, made my purchase a pleasure.
Hi to you both. I think you should sign up, Most of us are dealer friendly.

I saw that last week... got a bit confused where I drov into Bavarian and didn't see any MINI's!!!

... didn't go into the new showroom, but it looked quite good. I think Prentice are also building a separate showroom at Portadown.

excellent.. the JCW Day sounds interesting, Conor delt with me very nice chap and extremely patient

Conor does seem to be a decent bloke... I almost bought my car off him. I would have done if it wasn't for the bad reports I got about their service department

...I feel a bit bad actually, because he made a real effort at the time

They seem a nice team overall. Not typically sell, sell, sell. Quite happy to have a chat and a cuppa when time allows. Oh! It helps that they seem as enthusiastic about the mini as we are.

The showroom is definately worth a visit.

Do you know if the new showroom has its own service department or if the work is still done down at the main showroom.

Afaik the servicing is still happening at Bavarian. I saw several minis down at their workshop when I was passing. I could be wrong though, the new showroom didn't seem to be large enough for a servicing area.

If you're lurking Conor could you clarify this please.

The service dept etc is still at Bavarian- I got a bit through the post about the new showroom opening. Haven't had a chance to pop in to the new showroom yet, though will have to go and say hi to my mate Paul (whose poor head I turned in the months leading up to the delivery of my S... Got to the stage where I was telling HIM things, poor guy! Thoroughly pleasant though, and well worth saying hello to!
